I’ll be honest, the story is funny but the situations can get a bit repetitive. The characters and background are kind of rushed; the story mainly focuses on thr current plot rather than giving background for whatever is happening. The thing that is holding the novel back is the unstable translation quality. Some chapters done by a translation studio was perfectly fine. But, the other chapters have dubious translation. The chapters 1-19 (aka the free ones) have the most problems while the 20-40 chapters have minor errors.
this story can be describe in one word BRAGGING that's all what is about, but because of it there are a lot of funny moments so I will add it in my library

I have yet to read the story fully but the description is interesting. I will be looking forward to reading this. I hope the author keeps a steady pace throughout to make it enjoyable.

its good, but I can forsee racism as they keep talking about how even the emperor of japan had to gravel at his feet and blah blah blah. Its been brought up in separate chapters
can't wait for the next chapters! hopefully this will be picked up!! nice twist on the "returnee" genre. instead of always only encountering blind young masters, we see old fossils getting involved, slowly but steadily. good thing is, they really have old ties to the ancestor, so it's not gonna be the generic face-slapping over and over.

I dont know if it was the translators or the author who wrote "Old man poggers." But it made my day and was the first time in a while when ive actually laughe out loud at a novel.

I like the way that this novel is going. I can't help but anticipate how Su Ze's background will drive the story. I also like the small amounts of humor in the story as well.
it has potential intersperse with the normal________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________meaning ~ just like the hundreds of novels with the same theme and concept, could be good, could get worse, only the next next chapters could reveal. and there are bits of translation errors here and there
