It was already dark when Lakshmi and Jerome arrived in Barcelona. They quickly dined at a restaurant near the hotel and then returned to their rooms. When they got off the elevator they were holding hands; walking down the hall Jerome asked.

"Your room or mine?"

"I'll be more comfortable in mine."

When they were leaning over each other on the bed the man asked.

"Is your romance with Jack over?"

"Our union is indestructible, but it does not preclude taking certain liberties from time to time."

“I wish I had known much earlier. I've been dreaming of you for a long time. "

"I've been waiting for you too."

Bishop Iñaki was furious at his helplessness. The hit man named Bernal had taken up residence in one of the rooms they had in the Monastery for guests, had taken one of the empty offices to set up his barracks, and his thugs were prowling around the place, barely concealing their weapons.
