"Home sweet home," the boy smiled and held out his hand to the cat. "See you later Star. Don't let them eat you."
"They'll choke," snorted her girlfriend and walked off into the ship.
Lee waited for the Claw to fly up and away from the colony walls.
"Soldier, Private Long is back from his mission," Lee saluted toward the control post.
"Good work, Kid. My buddy cut down a nice stack of chips! It's a shame I didn't have time to place a bet," the soldier greeted the familiar boy with a smile. He remembered for a fact that he'd had a few sparring sessions with this boy at the gym.
"Yeah, I didn't expect that kind of luck from myself. I tried to show the best," Lee began to reinforce his legend from his first steps in the colony.
