Capítulo 490: The price she paid

The battle lasted for six days before the eventual showdown. It was time for the real warriors to fight to the death. This battle wasn't for everyone. 

As per the plan all the civilians and survivors who made it were sucked into the protective vortex that Maimuna made. 

Left behind were the elite soldiers trained by Malik, his loyal servants, the elders as well as his spouse.

With a few leaders, the others would survive without them. Those left on the battlefield were ready to lay down their lives for their people. 

The opposition was no better. This time,  Leila, the demon, and the mastermind Jinn stood rigid before their elite army. This battle would determine the victory.

They stood on either side, neither taking the initiative to begin. Malik stared ahead, seemingly focused on the enemy. However, the worry in his heart was threatening to spill over.
