Leo and his father walked down the stairs just as Aunt June and I were just about done with cooking dinner. From taking a look at the both of them, it seemed that the both of them had made up from the rather sunny smile that Leo was exuding as he glanced at his own father in a seemingly cheerful way. Uncle Evan, who usually looked awkward and remained silent when next to his own son, made a complete turned around and seemed as though the thaw between the two of them had completely melted after their little talk in Leo's room just now.
In fact, Leo was still talking to his father amicably when he took a whiff of the freshly cooked food from the kitchen. Hearing his own stomach growling, Leo immediately abandoned his father and rushed towards the kitchen, pulling on my sleeve in an excited manner.
