Capítulo 83: Welp that was anticlimactic
After sitting down I explained everything to Salem and when I say everything I mean everything but in a way that doesn't affect how she sees me , I even told her about my meeting with Rohan but instead I told her that I had meet Rohan after my life on earth and my memories were sealed before I was reborn on Remnant.
So like this it didn't change anything and now I had no secrets from her , I didn't even try to lie to her since she probably would have been able to sense through our connection , after that I gave her some time so she could process all that and after some time she said:
"So this means that for me it's the same? Going by what you said this means that I should have memories of my last life that aren't accessible right?"
I thought for a bit before saying "Well not necessarily , different from me your soul was created on Remnant by the twins but mine was sent there by Rohan"
She looked pensive and I just gave her time to think about all of this , the way I told her shouldn't affect her way of seeing me and shouldn't damage our relationship. As I was about to talk to her I noticed something that I had already expect to happen but not this early.
The way I was acting was being affected by my regained soul half , not that I minded after all it was good to be cunning because it prevented other people from manipulating things but I didn't want to become like I was in the past , I didn't want to become that cold hearted person that would do anything for power.
My current desire for strength was already good enough since it didn't push me to the point of seeing everyone as a disposable object that could be used to forward my plan and this thought made me smile and Salem seeing this asked me why I was smiling and I simply couldn't answer.

4 years had gone by in the blink of an eye and ever since that day that I regained the other half of my soul I had been using the keyblade very often and since I had been growing my power by grinding with it and since it was connect with me it was growing at the same pace I as me.
This year was the one where I would be facing the fragment of the creature that was inside the gate , I scanned the gate once again and there where 3 months left until it wasn't able to block it so feeling ready I decided to try my chance at it but before I did that I checked my stash of senzu beans and seeing it full I was ready for it.
<You think I'll be able to win?> I asked the Guardian looking at the gate in front of me and after a bit it said <You have been preparing for 4 years and you are stronger than my creator. If it was only that then the answer would have been yes , but you have that weapon in your arsenal so my answer is , Absolutely>
His answer made me chuckled , he was talking about my keyblade. My keyblade before it changed according to my soul first and foremost The Kingdom's Key and thus other than the X-blade itself it was the most dangerous weapon to beings of darkness and this creature was truly a being of pure darkness.
So it was pretty much set that I would win , after making I was ready perfectly I proceeded to walk through the gate and with the permission of the Guardian I was able to cross without a hitch but what I saw was what truly surprised me. The space inside the garden was starting to break and by the edge I saw the creature.
It looked exactly like it's form in my dreams and it was sitting on the edge looking down on the darkness that was there. I approached it carefully and silently summoned my keyblade , but then it turned to me with that same cruel smile that irked me before it said:
"We finally meet huh? Hmm it appears you have become quite strong since the last time I saw you , well it doesn't matter anyways." and it got and started walking towards me "Since you killed my champion I need to make you suffer before you die , oh and the name I choose for myself is Lucy so stop calling me 'creature'"
By the end it disappeared and I felt him appear behind me his hand already stabbing towards my heart but I reacted quickly and blocked using my keyblade before summoning Jackal and shooting at it's head but my bullet missed and he appeared in front of me again with that irking smile.
"Hehe this will be fun" it said as it lunged towards me and I did the same while pointing my gun and shooting and I was shocked when he simply dodged my bullets making me have to block again with my keyblade. This annoyed me so I used the bankai of Jackal making it turn into a mix of white and black.
In this bankai form Jackal turned into a conceptual weapon that was able to negate immortality and it's bullets always hit the target , the only drawback being that now I could only raise the speed of the bullets and not their damage. Seeing the bankai form the smile on Lucy's face was wiped.
I unsummoned the keyblade and replaced it with Casull before activating the bankai mode making it into a similar version of Jackal except that the color were inverted. Casull too was a conceptual weapon and it the same negation of immortality concept but different from Jackal it was able to damage the soul.
After getting my guns out I didn't waste time and went for a direct confront dodging Lucy's before putting Casull to his head and shooting without hesitation killing it. It was swift and clean , I wasn't dumb enough to let him use it's full power because who knew what trump cards he had.
After killing it I heard many dings from the system but decided to check them later and after shooting Lucy's corpse five more times just to make sure I activated my devour skill and devoured his body , maybe I would gain something out of it , who knew. After checking everything I went out and saw the Guardian looking at me.
I then heard it's voice and it sounded surprised <This fast?> I just nodded before saying <It was pretty anticlimactic but I didn't want to extend the battle to much , who knew what cards and ploys it had arranged so I finished it quickly> the Guardian then said <Indeed a wise choice>.
After that the Guardian simply got up and said <Now that the creature is dead my objective is accomplished , goodbye my friend. I wish you well> before proceeding to go inside the garden and I saw him stab his sword into the ground making everything be engulfed in fire , even the entrance was in fire.
After some seconds the fire extinguished and with it the gate was gone too , I continued looking at the place where the gate remained thinking , and after going over what could be barely called a fight I thought 'Tch now that's what I call anticlimactic , let's just hope the other fragments are stronger than this one'.
Then I teleported home and saw Salem meditating , she wasn't even circulating her energy and only meditating before she asked me "I see that our job in this world is done , now we only need to wait one year and we can leave. Do you know where to next Love?"
I sat down besides her before saying "The next world is gonna be fun and if possible we will even be able to achieve new powers and comprehend more laws , it's a world of many opportunities even for our worlds. There is a chance our worlds will be able to evolve and gain corporeal form like little Oscar"

LeylinTheFifth Welp here is the chap and I don't feel that this is a good chapter since I really him to leave this world. I don't feel that this is a good chapter because like the title says it was to anticlimactic but I do prefer it this way , because why wait for your enemie to gain more power and risk your life? Oh and I tried writing like olympaforged said but I think midway I just gave up because I was struggling hence my late delivery of the chapter
