Fabio's POV

I can still feel the pain from the gunshot wound, all the drugs I've been taking to stop the pain are not helping. I was able to remove the bullet myself and bandage it up. I've been hiding for days now and  I'm scared as to what might happen if I go out. So far no one has recognized me in this rundown neighborhood. 

I have stayed away from the apartment building two houses down because it will surely be filled with people who have dealt business with the mafia directly or indirectly, it looks like a place criminals go to hide. The last thing I need is for someone to alert the Alonsos' of my presence here. I refuse to be anyone's meal ticket. 

I know if I go to my father, he'll help me out but it's not safe yet. Not when every mafia family is on the lookout for me. I need them to let their guards down before I go to my father.
