Capítulo 28: Break to become stronger
"Aerum? Are you okay?"
"Aerum!"
Aerum opened her eyes, and she was shocked.
"Aerum! Calm down! You're injured really bad!" Her father said while holding her daughter.
"Oh? What happened?" Aerum asked.
"That girl, Aira... how could she be that strong?" Ermin asked.
"Maybe food!" Kurosa said.
"No, Kurosa, it's her magic. But I'm not sure what kind of magic is that." Asuka said.
Denzel started to use his magic toward Aerum.
"Hm.... sadly I couldn't found out the magic from Aerum's injuries. She used gloves that covered her identity." Denzel said.
"But we could bet that the magic could make the user stronger in physic." Osamu said.
"That makes sense, since she attack Aerum in a really close distance and she attacked her with her bare hands." Ermin answered.
"But if she just increased her physic, Aerum shouldn't be defeated that easy.... and if the magic increased her physic really strong that Aerum will got injured like this.... I think... it won't be just small broken bones and a medium scratch...." Denzel said.
"That makes sense too somehow..." Osamu answered.
"Then, what is it?" Yukina asked.

"We don't know." Everyone answered.

"Okay everyone, the next round was almost started and this will be the last round for today! And start from now, please choose two representatives from each school!"

"For sure we won't send Aerum." Denzel said.
"Two participants.... it might be two on two." Osamu said.
"Then, let's choose Kurosa and Asuka since they're good friends." Rheinalth said.
"Good choice." Ermin replied.
"Then, Kurosa, let's prepare." Asuka said.
"Okay-" Kurosa said, but her stomach cried.
"Damn.... we still got 5 minutes, let's eat." Asuka said.
"Yay!" Kurosa cheered.
"Okay, we will headed to the participants room."

At their way, Asuka gave Kurosa some foods to eat. Suddenly someone approach them.
"Oh! It's the chocolate eater!" Kurosa said.
"Eating a chocolate from you doesn't means I am a chocolate eater! But well, I prefer that nickname than magicless girl." A short girl with short brown hair said.
"Leca..." Asuka said.
"Well, here, if you want. I got it for you. I think this energy bar is good for stamina. If you asked why I gave it to you, it was because of that super delicious chocolate you gave me that time." Leca said.
"Aaah! Thank you!" Kurosa said, but Asuka concern,
"Kurosa-"
Kurosa ate that energy bar, then she said,
"Thank you! This is delicious!"
"Your welcome, and Asuka, don't worry, it wasn't poisonous." Leca said, then Leca left them.
"Moooooh.... you better don't accept any snack from other participants." Asuka complained, but then Kurosa answered,
"They have accept it from me too, so why should I reject?"
"Aaah... you never know what's dangerous uh..." Asuka complained while holding her head.
Then Amiko appeared.
"Sis Amiko!" Kurosa called.
"Oh hey, Kurosa." Amiko said while holding 10 boxes full of small matcha mochis.
"Woaah! Mochi!" Kurosa said.
"Oh, here! I'll give you one box, and if you win, I'll give you two extra boxes!" Amiko said.
"Woah! Really? Thank you!" Kurosa said while eating those mochis in a blink.
"Then, I'll sat on the spectators sits, I'll see you there!" Amiko said.
"Thank you, sis Amiko!" Kurosa said.
"Well, you surely got so many foods." Asuka said.
"Hm? You want some?" Kurosa asked.
"No, thanks.... I'm full." Asuka said.
Then they walked. But before they arrived, a boy approached them.
"Oh! It's the good good boy!" Kurosa said.
"Aah... that nickname was embarrassing for me... haha... just call me Robinson or Robin." The boy said.
"Okay, Sunny egg. Why are you approahing me? I don't have food now." Kurosa asked.
"Oh.... I just see this snack and I though you'll like it.... since I see you ate so many snacks at that stage, I'm thinking of you." Robinson said.
Then Kurosa started to cry,
"*sobs..... you're really a good boy..... no one ever thought of me when they saw foods.... *sobs....."
"Well, I always... it haunted me.." Asuka said. But Kurosa ignored it and accept Robinson's snack.
"Thank you!"
"Don't worry! And goodluck!" Robinson said.
Then Kurosa ate the snack.
"Asuka, it was really yummy! I never ate something like this before!" Kurosa said.
"It's called macaroon. It's kinda rare, but I saw someone sold it at outside so maybe he bought it there." Asuka said.
"Hoe? Don't you say that you have ate this kind of food before?" Kurosa asked.
"Well.... I've tried once, but it wasn't my taste. And Ermin might be eat it everyday as snacks before she joined Kannoya Academy..." Asuka said. Then Kurosa screamed,
"Hoeeeeeeeeeeeooeoeeooeoeo?! How?"
"Representatives, the tournament will be started, please gathered at the participants room!"
"We need to hurry." Asuka said while running toward the room. Kurosa followed from her back.

Suddenly a hologram screen appeared.
"So look at this. Each of you will be randomly placed to fight another students individualy, and the winner will be randomly fight with the other student that won the fight before, and so on."
"Huh? It wasn't a team fight?" Asuka asked.
"No! No! No!"
"It was one on one...." Kurosa thought.
"Okay, so we will place it randomly! Droll! Wolololololololololooooo!"
"Ja-Jaja! Here is the list!"
"1. Alicia (Alanis High School) vs Vena (Aldora Academy High School)
2. Asuka (Kannoya Academy High School) vs Leca (Miyuki High School)
3. Stormy (Kenichi Kitaro High School) vs Kurosa (Kannoya Academy High School)
4. Robinson (Kenichi Kitaro High School) vs Omi (Miyuki High School)
5. Odelia (Alanis High School) vs Katsumi (Aldora Academy High School)"
"Ah, I am first..." Alicia said.
"Then, let's begin without waiting!"
"Yeaaaah!"
Then the first match begin. Alicia walked to the stage with another boy from Aldora Academy High School.
"Alicia! Goodluck!" Asuka called from the room. Alicia waved at Asuka with a nervous face.
"The rumor said she was the strongest from Alanis." Kurosa said.
"Yes she is, I know. She's amazing!" Asuka answered.

Alicia brought her sword.
"Wait, is that allowed?" Yukina thought.
"Yes it is. The rule here is to use your magic or use magic weapons. Not everyone could use magic weapons you know." Asuka's sister said.
"Huh? You read my mind?" Yukina asked shockly.
"Ah, no.... you just seem confused while staring at the sword so..." Asuka's sister said.
"I see..." Yukina said.

Alicia pulled her sword from the scabbard.
"1!"
"I-I GIVE UP!" the boy screamed.
Everyone was shocked, including Alicia.
"H-Huh?"
"HEEEEEEH?!" Everyone screamed.
"Why? I am weak.... you know? Don't you want to try?" Alicia asked.
"DON'T LIE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! BYE!" The boy ran away from the stage.
"U-Um....." Alicia was confused.
"Eh.... faster than I thought..... then, since Vena ran away from the stage, the winner of this round is Alicia!"
"Wohoo!"
"D-Damn..... I don't even do a thing..... this is weird...." Alicia thought while shakingly walked to the waiting room for the participants.
