"Xiao Ye, wake up," Xia Yangyang gently urged.
It took a while for the boy to slowly open his eyes.
His gaze was always veiled by a layer of fog.
"Mama". The little boy called out.
Touching his hair, Xia Yangyang said, "Xiao Ye, we have to go to the hospital today, can you stay awake for a while?"
Xia Ye, trying his best, nodded his head, "Mama, I'll try."
Today, Xia Ye was doing quite well.
He stayed awake until they reached the hospital.
All the doctors and nurses in the neurology department knew this young patient.
They were all fond of him.
Nurse Maya was a Chinese-American, she always spoke in Chinese whenever she saw them.
Maya greeted Xia Yangyang, "Summer seems to be in good shape today."
Xia Yangyang smiled, "Is Doctor Gu in?"
"He is, please come in."
Xia Yangyang walked up to an office door.
She knocked.
"Come in," came a deep and magnetic male voice from inside.
Xia Yangyang pushed the door and entered.
