Sapphires POV:
Chase started to slowly walk towards me, the iris of his eyes now completely black. Shit.....I'm done for! 'Wake up bird brain, your smarter and stronger than he is. Oh....yeah.
Slow moment, haha! 'You bet' my dragon chuckled. I looked up and jumped in surprise. Chase was right in front of me. "You better back down now mutt or you will learn to regret the day you were born!" I stated harshly in my most powerful alpha tone.
He whimpered and bowed his head. I have seen him struggle with my command for a moment, but he soon backed down. When he finally looked up at me the iris of his eyes was gold, showing his dragon was now in control. "Let me talk to my mate. Please?" He whispered. 'Hmm I don't know....will you be able to control yourself?' i asked her.
'Yes I will, you don't have to worry about me' she replied. 'Ok fine, you get 5 minutes' I sighed. I then let my dragon take over.
Anastasias POV:
I looked at my mate and sighed. "What do you want Damon," I asked irritated. "I want a second chance and so does my human," he said in a whisper, looking into my now silver eyes.
"I don't think so! You have put Sapphire through unthinkable things in the past, and then you go and reject us! Are you naturally this stupid!" I yelled.
I could see the fire in his eyes when he said "I challenge you to a fight for the alpha position of this dragon Feen". My human was confused so I explained that 'Feen' is what we call our 'pack' in the dragon shifter world. "Fine, but your gonna regret it" I laughed.
We went outside and immediately faced each other. He shifted, while I stayed human. He looked confused but went ahead and pounced on me. I smirked up at him and grabbed his snout. I gripped his head in my hands and had him under me, passed out, in 10.5 seconds. When he woke up, he submitted to me. I instantly felt a surge of power. I am now alpha to 2,000 dragon shifters.
Oh wow! Wait..! Holy crap! What have I done! How am I supposed to lead 2,000 dragons, ALONE!
Sapphires POV:
'Omg omg' my dragon kept repeating over and over in my head. She cant believe we get to lead 2,000 dragon shifters. I, on the other hand, am furious. I mean he challenged his own mate for crying out loud!
I looked up knowing my eyes were silver and black, swirling with anger. He honestly looked scared for once. "Can you get any more immature! How the hell did you get this position in the first place! Plus you challenged your own mate!
I mean, who does that! It's one of the most disrespectful things I have seen a dragon do to its mate. I just had to be stuck with you of all people in the world" with each word I took a step towards him. I now had him by the throat against a tree. I lose my cool and sling him across the yard, and into another tree.
"Stop my child, don't hurt your mate," my mother said coming outside. "You of all people should know why I hate him! Plus I am no longer his mate, as he also has rejected me. Sound familiar!? I'm the next moon goddess and I'm getting weaker every day without a mate." I said crying out by the end.
My sister came outside, and when she saw my tears she hurried over and hugged me. She tried to be discreet, but with my hearing, I could hear her sniffles. "Oh, honey I know! That is why I am letting you take a break for a year, and then come back and finish training" I was surprised at first, but almost immediately I got excited. I then started jumping up and down with my sister, knowing for a fact that she was coming too.
