Capítulo 11: Chapter 11 *Xavier
Pain. That's all I felt through our mate bond, I felt her pain. The burning pain that is all over her body. I collapse on the ground as the warriors slowly pick me up but the moment, they touched me the burning feeling all over my body had increased. I kept screaming in pain, I scream for my mate not reaching for her in time. I scream for her pain.
I know that half of my warriors are searching for her in and out of the territory right now. The warriors then manage to hold me up and run straight to the pack hospital and put me on the medical bed and the pack doctor came towards me cleaning up my wounds from the rouge attack. But she can't do anything about the pain I felt. The pain of my mate. After a couple of minutes, the pain had increase again like someone is torturing her. Not handling how much pain I felt I lost consciousness.
Poor little Xavier you can’t even save your parents, what happens when your mate founds about it. And rejected you knowing her mate herself can’t even protect his own parents. The man in front of me says and the woman besides him laugh manically, while my parents lays lifeless between them.
With his comment I felt pain then my bones start to pop, break, and I felt them repositioning themselves turning myself into a werewolf for the first time.
What’s happening I thought you put a spell to stop him from shifting.
I don’t know either, your comment must have triggered him.
I suddenly jerked and woke up remembering the events that happened before. After my first shift, I killed every single rouge that has set foot and had hurt my pack members but sadly I did not killed the person who is behind the killings of so many werewolves including my parents.
Back then I still don’t know why at the age of 20 I still haven’t shifted, many of pack members asked this but that doesn’t stop me from training to become an Alpha and that night had answered our confused mind.
"We have to find mate." Danger growled in my head.
I pushed the door opened and went to my office. When I got there my Beta and Third are already discussing something and a map laid on top of my table. When they looked at me, fear evident into their eyes. As they look at Danger's eyes feeling rage.
"Where is she? Where is my mate?"
"We still don't know Alpha Danger, we already sent out as many search parties as we can." Jack says.
I let out a heart-breaking howl for my mate. This all my fault.
"Let me have control back Danger." I said.
"Fine."
The guys let out a small sigh of relief when they saw my usual brown eyes.
"Did you find out what those creatures are?" I asked.
"No Alpha. We still haven't had a clue, Alpha. They don't have any scent even the Luna we haven't caught any scent of her." Jack said.
"Have you tried reaching her through the bond?" Dave asked.
"Yes, but wherever she is I still can't reach her. Like someone or something is preventing us from reaching her." I say.
"This is getting harder and harder." Jack says.
"Did you guys visits her friends?"
"Yes alpha, the twins and Mark have been visiting them from time to time."
"Good, now let's concentrate on finding my mate and your Luna." I said.
"Yes Alpha." They both said.
I have a feeling these connects on what happened, 10 years ago.
What? Please don’t tell me these will end up a bloody war. Dave says in fear.
Hope it won’t, I don’t want to go through the pain again. I said in a serious tone which makes my comrades nods with determination.
Wherever you are Raelin I will find you. No matter what.
I have been in my office for the past few days, calling other Alpha's trying to find my mate. But they also haven't seen or heard any of her.
"Where could she be?"
The door at my office opened and Xena's head popped out behind the door.
"What do you want?" I asked her.
"You know that Jana's birthday is today, right?"
"Is it today?" I asked shocked that I forgot my niece's birthday.
"Yes, and I know your busy trying to find Raelin but you also need to take a break. Come on you need to join us. Jana's also been unhappy when she found out that Raelin's been missing."
"Fine. You go ahead I be there in a few minutes." I spoke.
"I'll see you then at the backyard."
I nodded and went to my room to have a quick shower. After I got dressed, I walk downstairs and went to the backyard. I was looking for Jana until I saw her sitting at the ground feeling sad.
"Hey kiddo, are you okay?"
"I missed Raelin uncle. She should have been here."
"I know kiddo, I do too. But will she be happy if you’re not having fun during your birthday party? Come on kiddo, you need to celebrate. It’s your birthday after all." I said encouraging her.
"Uhm, okay uncle."
She got up and hold my hand as we went on stage to blow the candles on her cake. Everyone clapped and congratulating her. I let her go when her friends came to us and invited her to play with them. I looked at everyone and I saw the twins and Mark at the corner.
Did anyone of the girls came? I asked as I walk towards them.
None of them wants to go.
They wouldn’t come unless Raelin is here.
The twins said but then I heard Jana's scream. I run towards the her and I saw a rouge standing in front of her as he smirks at me. While two rouges are holding Jana's arms.
"What do you want?" I growled out.
"Simple Alpha, we just want your future, Luna. Now hand her to me or your precious niece would go bye bye."
"No, please don't hurt my baby. I'm begging you." Xena screams while tears rolling into her eyes but there comment made me question, where the hell is my mate then.
"Oh please, your daughter will be safe in your arms if you let your future Luna come to us."
After he said that three figures wearing cloaks suddenly appeared behind their backs and before they turned around the three figures sliced their throats. Jana screamed as she saw the blood and run towards Xena's arms.
"You!" I growl.
I bolted towards them but somehow my feet can't move. I look at my feet and vines wrapped around them holding me down to the ground. I looked at my warriors and they too had vines wrapped around their feet.
"I think we’re getting off on the wrong foot here. We're not here to harm you, we're trying to help you." The person in front says.
"If you're trying to help us, then where is my mate?" I shout.
"She's safe, but because of the burns that was inflicted on her, she felt too much pain that she went into a deep sleep. And you do not have to worry Alpha, her friends are already taking care of her. She says and looks at Jana’s direction.
Jana, sweetheart here, someone wants to give you this and Happy Birthday." She says to her and throws a red box at Jana’s, and she caught it.
"Until then Alpha Xavier."
"Wait!"
But the three of them are already gone. And the vines had let me go and my warriors. I run towards Jana as she opens the box that they gave it to her.
"Kiddo, may I see what they gave it to you?"
"It’s a necklace uncle and it’s so beautiful."
She lifts it up and it is indeed beautiful.
It was a silver necklace with leaves and royal blue and green jewel.
"Wait a minute, did she say that Raelin's friends are already taking care of her?" Xena asked.
I looked at the twins and Mark with the same expression. And before Xena could tell anymore words, we shifted and run towards our mate’s house.
"Do you think she's already there?" Xavi asked in the mind link.
"There is only one way to find out." I spoke.
