Capítulo 19: Chapter Nineteen

“That’s crazy!” Anna huffed into the darkness.

“Do you have a better idea?” Ava glared at her daughter.

“It’s not like we are capable of escaping this without defeating the Blood Demon. His demises are our salvation!”

“You make this sound so easy, but it isn’t. We’re not just gambling with our lives here! We’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. Humans and demons alike. What if something goes wrong?”

“It won’t. You have both of us here to help you, Anne. You won’t lose control”, she reassured her, rubbing her shoulder.

Anna hesitated for a few minutes.

This could change everything but what other choices did they have than succumbing to the darkness? Succumbing to their protective layer of power and destruction. It was already inside of them so why not embrace it? Why not use it to their advantage?

“Fine. I’ll do it but I need to learn how to control my demon first”, Anna finally replied after weighing their options.
