Capítulo 6: The King and Queen Part II
Location: Route 22, Kanto Region
Bianca and Leaf manage to escape from the Nidorans and are running to find Red and Blue. When they get to their last place with Red and Blue, they don't see anyone there.
"Where are Brother and Blue?" asked Leaf.
"I have no idea. But I think they both are in trouble. We better look for them" replied Bianca.
Bianca and Leaf also went out to find Red and Blue.
On the riverbank, Blue and Blastoise were fighting Nidoqueen who had suddenly attacked them.
"I think this Nidoqueen attacked us because we scared their kids," said Blue.
"Blast," Blastoise thought the same way as Blue.
"Nido!" The Nidoqueen starts attacking Blue again.
"Blastoise, keep using Protect!" Blue told Blastoise to take cover.
"Blastoise!" Blastoise uses his move.
*Bam*
Nidoqueen's attack was blocked by Blastoise's Protect.
"Nidoqueen always attacks us with her Superpower move. Looks like she doesn't have a Poison-type attack. If that's the case, I don't have to worry about Blastoise getting poisoned. Blastoise, let's start the attack. Hydro Cannon! Go!" Blue starts attacking Nidoqueen.
*Spurt*
"Blast!" Blastoise fired water from its cannon.
"Nido!" Nidoqueen was hit by Blastoise's attack.
"Good, Blastoise. Nidoqueen is also a Ground-type. So a Water-type attack would be very effective against it. Blastoise, use the Hydro Cannon one more time!" Blue told Blastoise to use his Hydro Cannon again.
"Blast!" Blastoise uses his skill again.
"Nido!" The Nidoqueen was silent and took Blastoise's attack.
"She's not avoiding it?!" Blue was surprised that Nidoqueen didn't dodge Blastoise's attack.
"Nido... Queen!" Instantly Nidoqueen countered Blastoise's attack.
*Bam*
Nidoqueen's attack hit Blastoise because he didn't expect Nidoqueen to counter his attack.
"Blast!" Blastoise was in great pain from Nidoqueen's attack.
"What?! She counters Blastoise's attack?!" Blue was surprised that Nidoqueen managed to counter Blastoise's attack.
"Nido!" Nidoqueen looked very satisfied to be able to reverse Blastoise's attack.
"I understand now. This Nidoqueen uses a Counter. Shit. Her attacks were doubled from what she received. Blastoise, are you okay?" Blue asked looking at Blastoise who was in pain.
"Blast!" Blastoise still felt like he could keep fighting.
"If Nidoqueen has a Counter move, we can't just attack that Nidoqueen. I never thought there were wild Pokemon who were smart enough to fight. Blastoise, for the time being, we will focus on defense," said Blue.
"Blast!" Blastoise follows Blue's lead.
At Red's place, Charizard's condition is very bad because he got an attack from Nidoking which poisoned him. However, Charizard is still trying to stand up again so he can beat Nidoking. Unfortunately, Nidoking didn't want to give Charizard a chance and started running towards him to attack him.
"Nido... King!!" The Nidoking jumped up to attack Charizard with his head.
*Bam*
Charizard couldn't avoid Nidoking's attack because he was poisoned.
"King!" Nidoking was very happy he was able to attack Charizard.
Red is surprised that Nidoking can use a Rock-type move, Head Smash to attack Charizard. The move is four times more effective against the Fire and Flying-type like Charizard. Red was thinking about how to fight Nidoking in unfavorable circumstances like that. The Nidoking began to attack Charizard again with his Head Smash.
"Minccino, Hyper Voice!" Bianca comes to Red's aid.
"Min... Cci... No..." Minccino used his move.
"Nido!" Nidoking is hit by Minccino's attack.
"Red! Put Charizard in his Pokeball!" Bianca yells at Red to put Charizard into his Pokeball.
Without thinking, Red puts Charizard into his Pokeball and runs towards Bianca and Leaf.
"Let's get out of here," asked Bianca.
They all ran from the strong Nidoking. However, Nidoking doesn't want to lose and catches up to Red and his friends. Red invites them all to run towards the river to meet Blue and Blastoise because Nidoking is a Ground-type and weak against Blastoise, a Water-type.
At Blue's place, things weren't very good either. Blastoise's state after receiving a Counter from Nidoqueen made him weak. However, Blue is still waiting for the right opportunity to attack Nidoqueen.
"Nido!" Nidoqueen attacks Blastoise with Iron Tail.
"Blastoise, keep on Protect," Blue still asks Blastoise to use Protect.
"Blast!" Blastoise sticks with Protect.
Nidoqueen continues to attack repeatedly using her Iron Tail. However, Blastoise only using his Protect from Nidoqueen's moves as Blue requested. Not long after, Red and the others finally arrive at Blue and Blastoise's place. To their surprise, Blue was also being attacked by one of the Nidoking herd.
"Blue!" Bianca called out to Blue.
Blue and Blastoise were distracted because Bianca had called them. Nidoqueen took advantage of that to attack Blastoise using a Superpower move.
"Nido!" Nidoqueen attacks Blastoise.
"Blastoise! Watch out!" Blue notices Nidoqueen's attack then calls Blastoise to focus back on the fight.
"Blast!" Blastoise managed to use his Protect before taking an attack from Nidoqueen.
"This is it. Superpowers make the user take damage too. Nidoqueen definitely couldn't use the Counter move because she was taking that damage. Blastoise! Now! Hydro Cannon!" Blue immediately ordered Blastoise to attack Nidoqueen.
"Blast!" Blastoise attacks Nidoqueen using his Hydro Cannon.
"Nido!" Nidoqueen is hit by a Hydro Cannon attack and is pushed towards Red and the others.
"Red! Get down!" Blue screams for Red and the others to get down.
Red immediately lowered his head, Bianca, and Leaf so as not to get hit by Blastoise's Hydro Cannon. Blastoise's move makes Nidoqueen pushed and hits Nidoking who is running after Red and the others. Red, Bianca, and Leaf run towards Blue.
"Are you all right?" asked Blue.
"No, it's okay. But why did the Nidorans attack us?" answered Bianca.
"They attacked you too?" asked Blue.
"Yes. A pair of Nidorans we meet attacked Bianca and me. Then that Nidoking attacked Big Brother," Leaf replied.
"Can't you beat him?" asked Blue.
Instantly Red takes Charizard out of his Pokeball to show Chariard's condition.
"That Nidoking has a Poison-type attack, huh," said Blue.
"Use this!" Bianca gives a Pecha Berry that she got from Nurse Joy before.
"Good. That will remove Charizard's poisoning status," Leaf said.
Red takes the Pecha Berry and gives it to Charizard for him to eat. Instantly, Charizard recovered from poisoning after eating the Pecha Berry.
"Charizard is well again!" Leaf is very happy to see Charizard recovering.
"Do not be too happy, yet. They're all still here," Blue reminded Leaf about the Nidorans.
Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and a pair of Nidorans who attacked Bianca and Leaf stood in front of them indicating they were still going to attack. Instantly from above and from behind Red and company, several attacks were aimed at the Nidorans.
