Monday afternoon

After finishing the last revision I wanted to do to my novel I sent the first draft by mail to my editor, Kevin, hoping he would finish editing it and fix the missing things, meanwhile I went shopping with April, we went to the mall to buy new clothes for tonight, we both wanted to wear something for the party.

When that girl who had become close to me in the last days was trying on her fourth dress in the same store I decided to try one more time with Alisa, hours before I had tried without success, I hoped that now I would be able to talk to her.

I dialed her number and waited for it to ring on the other end, it did after a few seconds of silence.

-Hello," Alisa answered, surprised by the sudden call.

-I finally found you, woman," was the first thing I told her, I let out a sigh of relief after hearing her voice on the other end.

-What happened?" she asked worried, she thought something bad had happened.
