Initially, it’s a very interesting story. However it quickly becomes repetitive. The author has an odd habit of revealing the conclusion immediately after foreshadowing, cutting the joy of the journey in half. It’s like watching a tv show for the first time with that annoying person who has watched it before constantly telling you spoilers of stuff that was supposed to be revealed in the finale. Where’s the fun with no suspense or anticipation? After reading 400 chapters the author has introduced 4 different love lines, 1 main character pair, and 3 sub-character pairs. The problem is that all 4 pairings are actually the same pattern. A straight, innocent, virgin man of enormous status who typically rejects contact with women falls in love at first sight with a woman, but doesn’t realize it. The woman is similarly attracted but burdened by their past making them think of themselves as not worthy/rejecting love altogether. The man is persistent in his pursuit, wanting to protect the “weak” woman. The woman makes a show of strength proving that they’re feisty firecrackers who know how to fight back. The woman is seen by the man, and is immediately embarrassed that their ability to defend themselves was seen by their love interest (why this is shameful I will never understand). The man’s interest in the woman soars, and they go to excessive lengths to protect their woman without asking said woman if they want/need the help. The woman is touched and all their problems are solved because their man provides them safe harbor and enables the woman to treat their various antagonists atrociously without fear of backlash (which inevitably only earns the woman more enemies due to envy and jealousy). As the enemy power increases the different pairings band together alongside their super powerful family members to collectively crush their enemies into dust, ruining many lives (but they are all villians so of course they “deserve it”) while the protagonist’s only become more powerful and outstanding, earning them another wave of enemies. This wouldn’t bother me if it was just once or twice, but it’s every time. The worst part is that the other 2 love lines (there are still 2 male sub-characters whose significant others haven’t been revealed yet) are going to be the same. I know because the author’s spoiler habit has already said so. I was planning to at least read until the main character’s relationship was revealed, but I really can’t bring myself to do it. The author has already told me exactly what will happen once it comes to light and has even revealed what will happen in the future with the various pairings children, and some of the pairs, including the main couple, haven’t even reached that level of intimacy- but I already know when the main couple are going to have a child! I even know what gender the kid will be! And what the kid’s personality is going to be like! If spoilers don’t bother you, then it’s a fine read. If repetitive storylines don’t bother you, it’s a great read. But for me, it’s a “meh” read, and I’d rather spend my coins elsewhere.
enjoyed the story.I enjoyed her winning in the end, love the revenge, a dish best served cold. as always.....

I really love this book! It is full of love and laughter. So many LOL moments. The friendship between the main characters, and later on their children is one of the things that I enjoy in this book. So many couples here as well! I can’t decide on my favorite couple coz they all had their time to shine. A must read book 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I really really like the plot and the writing style, but after around ch 850 the translation gets so bad that reading the novel equals to heavily editing it in your mind... otherwise I would have given this a 4.5 rating!

I liked the story enough to pay for the amount I did to see up to 1000k chapters but at around 850 or so, the translation just threw me out of the flow and made it hard to enjoy. The upper case letters were nonexistent and pronouns were confusing between he, she, me and I. I sometimes had no idea who was talking or who was where. Very much not an enjoyable read. I was very much looking forward to finishing it, but I don't feel willing to pay for the rest of the chapters with it being like this.
Awesome story until they used machine-like translator starting chapter 850+. Im gonna come back for this book when they found a proper ones.
This is a good story. The plot was not quite as predictable as expected. The character were interesting. The story suffers from some of the usual pitfalls of serialized stories (contrived plots, melodrama, etc), but that comes with the territory. My only complaint is that the rate of translation is slow, and some of the chapters have been divided to make more frequent updates with shorter content. Understandable, but not enjoyable.
The translator started well in the first few hundred chapters. In the last 150 chapters or so, the translation is horrible, gender pronouns are mixed up and you can hardly comprehend which character you are reading about.
overall super book... 👌 👍 😍 each and every chapters are written connectivly.... i love all the characters...😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👌 waiting to see song and chens kids to come...
ML is 25 and FL is 17. ML has been adult long enough to be a person of his own, ruthless and manipulative basically playing the FL to “fall in love” with him while the FL is still a teenager vulnerable bcoz she’s trying to cope with her parents divorcing, a half-sister scheming and a stressful life changing exam looming. Long story short; ML is basically grooming the FL and it’s “cute” and “so romantic” because he’s rich and handsome. 🤷🏻♀️ I REALLY tried and I got to 170 but I can’t continue.

It's a very interesting stories and just when you think that you have figured out the book it gives you another suprise honestly it's addictive and full of plot twists and more importantly there is no major misunderstanding FL is strong and cunning.I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND APPRECIATE THE BOOK IF LOOKING FOR ANYTHING ROMANTIC BUT NOT BORING BUT ALSO HAS A NICE STORY FLOW THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU . AUTHOR GOOD JOB
I love how he tries to hide that he likes her and secretly tries to flirt with her and how he wants to protect her. I like how she doesn't want to admit she likes him even to herself and tries to hid it. I can't wait till they figure it out.
5 stars for comedy!! relationship is slow building but also keeps you on tenterhooks, feels good while reading. this book is honestly a hidden gem, thank you so much for translating!

I am an avid reader and have yet to enjoy a story as much as this one! Every character is well defined. The main characters and side characters are so well developed that you feel as if you personally know them. The real-life senarios within the plot of this book have kept me laughing throughout. It’s such a pleasure to read! The translation to English has been done so well that you really have to look hard for the very few wrong personal pronouns. If you don’t mind reading a romance/drama story about people with an age difference (I have no personal issues with this), especially when the characters are obviously mentally mature, then this is a great read! I have been pleasantly surprised with the fact that NONE of the characters are annoying! Both the ML & the FL are mentally & morally astute and neither go to extremes with their actions and/or their emotions and neither are overbearing or flaky. Even the main side-characters are very well balanced and portrayed with laughable care. At this point, I’m not sure how the story ends but I’m still willing to recommend it just because of the shear enjoyment factor. Please read this book! This is personally one of my top 3 books. I often find humor while I’m reading. The story is easy to follow, barely any errors or problem problem reading along. The main characters are great! I love them so much. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for quality. The updates are daily. I love this book so much I’m always checking on updates all day everyday. The story is easy to follow as well, highly recommend.

Even though I was very sick of all those romance ceo-aristocrat love stories with same names and backgrounds, this one was a refresher in terms of MC. Heroine is pretty standard, smart girl, shy in love but fiesty in family politics. so glad I decided to give this a try! Also: Qian Jiang is an absolute 😍😍 with his live broadcasts!!!

The plot is refreshing, story build-up is good and never boring for me. While there are a lot of sub-plots, they are linked to the main plot beautifully. It’s also funny! Can’t wait for more chapters!!😊
the story line is unique, good translations, each chapter has new twist and colaboration among characters. Im on chapter 901 but apparently upon changjng my phone it was deleted I can no longer re read it. how can i access my previously downloaded pages of whick I bought it via GCaSh
