Capítulo 14: New Sword

As Lumas' eyes opened he was met with an all too familiar ceiling, slowly sitting up as he rubbed his eyes he felt it was easy, too easy standing up he went to take a step but instead stumbled to the door sticking his hands out to stop his fall… Imagine his surprise when his hands go straight through the door leaving splintered wood behind Lumas was beyond confused… then it hit him… his status updated although he was excited the sudden explosive increase in stats seems to be a lot more difficult to get used to then he thought

'Anyone else have these problems?'

His first thought was to ask Ais, then he froze and looked around the room… It was too big to be his, there were dressers and a desk he didn't have, the bed was nearly double the size of his, but yet most of his stuff had been moved into the room yet there was another person's clothes in a pile of what seemed to be dirty clothes… As he was frozen looking around the room the door opened, Lumas heard and turned to see Ais walking into the room a towel wrapped around her body and another around her head they stared at each other for a bit before Lumas' face went straight red and he found the floor interesting

"S-sorry"

Nearly getting stuck in a stutter Lumas barely managed to speak out as he felt a knot in his throat, despite the smile on Ais' face she seemed confused as she tilted her head

"For what?"

See didn't get an answer, Lumas seemed to have fried a part of his mind as he stood there staring at the floor… after realizing he wasn't going to move Ais went in front of the mirror and dropped her towel revealing her body in full glory, slowly taking the towel from her head as she squeezed the leftover water out before moving over to a dresser pulling out an oversized shirt alongside some underwear wear and slipping into them

"Lumas?"

"Huh?"

The red hue hasn't faded and Lumas seemed lost but his unfocused answer still reached Ais' ear

"Would you brush my hair? I can clean our clothes in the meantime"

Pulling a chair upto a small tub of clean water she turned to look at Lumas only to find him staring, as their eyes met Lumas seemed to fidget

"S-sure"

Carefully walking over to Ais as she handed him a brush and patted the chair asking for him to sit, once he did Ais slightly bent down grabbing some clothes from the pile causing Lumas to find the wall interesting… However his gazing of the wall was cut short as he felt something move between his legs, looking down he saw Ais' sitting down in front of him her head between his legs humming a tune to herself as her head slightly bobbed along with the tune, Lumas couldn't stop the smile that rose to his face even if he tried

Outside the room 2 Amazons pumped their fists as they watched the interaction through a crack in the door seemingly forgetting about the two hand sized holes in the middle of it

"That was easier than I thought it would be"

"Ehh really? Did you not see his hands go through the door right for our necks he definitely knew we were there"

Tione's jaw dropped "No way, You sure?"

Tiona knocked on Tione's head "Why else would he force his hands through the door doofus"

=========================================

Riveria could be seen in her office staring at Lumas' stats… His meteoric rise was too sudden, 2 days in the dungeon couldn't provide enough elexcia to boost his stats in such a way, not to even mention that Lumas somehow broke through the limit of mortals something Loki made sure that everyone knew it was impossible even going as far to describe what should have happened, While happy she didn't have to pick bits of flesh from the walls she could help but worry… if his status ever got leaked the amount of gods that would swarm him would be ridiculous, and with the strength Lumas' god showed Loki is even slightly afraid of what would happen if anyone tried to poach him… not that anyone can his god would need to deconstruct his blessing while keeping the Falna inside of Lumas' body intact something most gods can't manage

When switching Familia's you either lose all your progress or some of it there is no god capable of leaving every bit of Falna behind while deconstructing the blessing with a sigh she caught the piece of paper on fire making sure it was reduced to ashes before she turned her attention elsewhere, Lumas wasn't technically an adventurer so the guild didn't need to look at his stats nor was he apart of a Familia inside of Oriaro, There was no reason for his status to ever leave the upper ranks of the Loki Familia, although that means he wouldn't get an Alias from the Denatus but in the end such things wouldn't matter… If he proves himself the public will give him an alias, usually better than the ones given at the denatus… Nine Hells really?

With yet another sigh she returned to her paperwork cursing the amount due to the expedition coming up

=========================================

Lumas was currently standing across from Finn, Finn was helping Lumas get used to his new stats while simultaneously training his instincts/senses. It was already decided that Lumas wouldn't enter the dungeon until he was used to his increased status, Lumas still needed gear for the deep floors and he wasn't wanting to rely on Loki or Ais let alone Riveria for such things… He wanted to dive headfirst into smithing, the amount of material he has at his disposal seemed almost inexhaustible

Lumas was dancing across the training ground with a hint of elegance in every arc drawn with his sword, Finn met every strike with equal force using his spear slowly upping his speed he wanted to find Lumas' limit and force him to hold it until he collapsed, Finn was pleasantly surprised he may have just found himself a sparring partner before Lumas could barely stay standing during their spars however now they were nearly equal, Finn still had the upper hand in both stats and experience however Lumas' Instincts/senses seemed to allow him to fight above his 'weight class' Finn had no doubt he could still floor Lumas with little difficulty but currently they were trying to get him used to his status not a beating

After a few hours have passed Lumas' was mostly adapted to his status enough not to accidentally break things wherever he went, with the sun still high in the sky he went to the forge pulling out a variety of materials, He set up the Enchanting Table in one of the corners while the Alchemy table and tools were set up in the opposite corner the forge was slowly getting crowded but Lumas didn't care it didn't need to look fancy

Lumas started with a weapon, Pulling out the Emperium he got from the Golden Thief Bug alongside a greenish silver metal which he found out was mithril, and some magic silver dust. Starting with the core of the sword he melted down the Mithril sprinkling the Magic Silver dust into the molten metal to raise the Magic conductivity, it took him nearly 2 hours just to get the shape right before taking it over to the enchanting table he sat down and began inscribing seemingly random patterns into the still hot metal, each inscription itself held no power… he was slowly creating his own enchanting language fueled by his intent with the help of 'Embodiment of Magic'

He would stop every once and a while to check his work before rewriting some of the inscription, erasing, or writing new ones… after a few hours the metal was covered in various runes(?) leaving it on the Enchanting table he began melting down the Emperium while pulling some Adamantine dust and an ingot of Orichalcum out of his 'Item Box', he seemed to have a limited amount of these metals but he had a feeling that coming across more wouldn't be difficult in the future while Mithril, Orichalcum, and Adamantine are 'legendary' metals which are known to be impossible to be found as ore there have been records of weapons made of such metals all over Oriaro, so there must be some way to produce them

Refocusing on the molten Orichalcum he poured in a healthy amount of Adamantine dust before forming the metal back into an ingot, seeing that the Emperium was finally melted down he dropped the ingot within before letting it cool and turning his attention to his work table pulling out scraps of Magic beast leather and wood that has been attuned to Fire Magic… The wood itself looked like a piece of obsidian, he arranged them in the table before returning to the enchanting table grabbing the core and bringing it over to the anvil while he began reheating the ingot of mixed metal

Losing track of time as he slowly beat the metal into shape infusing his intent into the sword, When he was finished he dunked the blade into Magic infused oil quenching the blade, as he looked over the blade looking for any imperfections he was ecstatic to find none present moving to his work table he began making the handle slowly whittling away at the wood with more effort than he thought would be needed occasionally checking to see how it feels in his grip or to see if he need to take off more to fit the tang

Lumas lost himself in his work enjoying it more then he should, the finishing touches were the only thing left using the leftover metal to make a cross guard and pommel he put everything together using Oridecon dowels to fasten the handle to the blade, Looking over his finished blade he was proud like a father whose son just reached level 2… the blade itself was a dark silver with various colors hidden within seemingly moving throughout the blade, he blamed the Orichalcum for this it made the blade look gaudy he purposely made the blade look unrefined but yet the Orichalcum ruined it... There was a line of dark gold following the blades dull edge due to Emperium contrasting the dark silver, the blade itself had an odd shape starting wide near the cross guard before narrowing near the middle of the blade then widening as it reached the tip with small cuts near the tip, the wooden handle was wrapped in a dark leather and the cross guard had small transparent Magic Catalysts he found within his item box across its sides

As he took the blade to the enchanting table he hoped this blade could handle his flames, throughout the night Lumas sat at the Enchanting table inscribing the blade he double, no triple checked his work before calling it a night and sleeping in the bed conveniently placed in the forges 2nd floor
