The situation is dire and the accident was terrifyingly dangerous. It is unknown whether the people from the wrecked car are still alive.
Suddenly, the car erupted with thick smoke and a large fire came out from the tail where the gasoline from its tank was leaking. The people were frantic as they suddenly took cover as they knew that the vehicle is about to explode.
And true to their conjecture, it did explode.

The loud explosion rocks the whole road and the car debris was scattered all over the place.
Thick black smoke and the smell of burning rubber could be smelled in the air.
Many gasped in disbelief and were a bit worried about the young man who tried to rescue the people in the car. Though he carries a rifle, now the people are more concerned about him than afraid.
When the smoke and the dust cloud slowly dies down, and when they saw the wreck, everyone was dumbfounded.
This is because the car was almost blown into bits. If the metal parts of the car were turned into shreds just like this how much more of those people inside?
It did not take long before a black SUV arrives in the area.
Black suited men came running towards the wreckage. When the one leading the group saw what happened, he kneeled on the ground while crying.
"Nooo!!! Mantao… my daughter, my dear daughter…" he said while crying and bashing his fist on the ground.
"Daddy was not able to protect you… But I swore that I will get my revenge! I will avenge your death!" he shouted in the air making the onlookers feel afraid.
One of his men who checked the car carried a broken and partly melted sword towards the man.
Yu Mantao's father grabbed the sword and his expression turned dark. This is the sword that he gave to his daughter. Since her daughter likes to practice kendo and swordsmanship he bought her an authentic katana blade.
But it seems that this blade was even melted to this point with that explosion. This is something that truly made his heartbreak.
"That… That Xin Wei is truly cruel. How could he not let my darling daughter go? Why would he kill my baby girl…" he said while gritting his teeth.
He is already aware of what is really happening. This is something that happened more than a year ago. They framed a young man into killing his best friend, then so silence his parents, they staged an accident. He knew what the truth is but he did not care about it at that time.
They are just mere ants in his eyes and he just laughed it off like it was nothing.
But now… now everything is turning into a nightmare.
First, it was the son of the Ling, then his daughter Yu Mantao. He did not know who is next. But he knew that after their children are finished off, that person will be hunting them, next.
But how could they hunt something that is hiding in the dark? How could they find something that lurks in the shadows?
He suddenly grabs his phone and dialed a number.

Suddenly, Mr. Yu heard the sound of a couple of sirens in the distance. Then he looks at his phone and saw that on the news screen, the helicopter is following a figure running on the highway this figure is being chased by many police cars.
"Damn you! I will kill you!" Mr. Yu's expression turned ugly as he rushes to their vehicle.
They rush towards the scene where the police are chasing after a figure. The figure's running speed is not that fast, but it is enough for the police cars to chase after him.
The commotion on the highway has already caught the attention of the whole city and even those outside City H are also viewing this news broadcast.
Not long later, the figure suddenly stopped as he was cornered by a large group of armed men. Mercenaries and Hunters are looking at Xin Wei's figure. They have been informed to either kill or capture him.
When he stopped, the police have already surrounded him and their guns are pointed in his direction.
He has no way out as he was stopped on a skyway. On either of his sides is a 20 meters drop. So the authorities thought that this person is already cornered.
"Drop your weapon and surrender! We will not open fire! I repeat! Drop your weapon now, and surrender. You have no way out!" someone said on a speakerphone.

As I look around me, I could see the many faces of the police officers, and among them are the people called Hunters, along with the mercenaries.
I never would have thought that this city would turn out like this. When the world suddenly change and many people began to feel the strangeness in the air, everything became worse. Upon thinking up to this point, should I be glad that my parents have already left this crazy and chaotic city? Should I be grateful instead of those who killed them as they have relieved them of being oppressed and be turned into slaves?
I have experienced a lot of things in this city. I saw a lot of hardship and suffering of the people. And I know that if my parents are still alive, then they would surely suffer such a fate. As I think about this, I began thinking about where my parents are? How should I find it?

"I repeat! Surrender now or we will open fire!" shouted the man.
Suddenly, a car arrives from afar, it was an SUV and another black sedan car. I noticed the person going out of the sedan car was the detective who tried to negotiate with me in Lin Ting's bar.
I could see the anger in his face as he suddenly walks forward. He suddenly grabs the handgun on his side and then pointed it towards me.
On the side, a group of men also alighted from their car while carrying long semi-automatic rifles.
"You took my daughter away from me! I will kill you with my bare hands!" shouted the man as he suddenly walks out of the police barrier.
He grabs a black and beautifully crafted katana on his waist as he drew closer towards me.
"I am Yu Iljao… I am the father of Yu Mantao! I am here to challenge my daughter's killer. No one should interfere!" shouted Yu Mantao's father as he walks closer to me.
I look at him and the sword. And upon seeing the sword, I find it beautiful.
"Your daughter owes me a life. A life for a life…" I said to the middle-aged man who is already taking off his coat.
The stocky body of Yu Mantao's father made him looks like he is only in his 30's. He seems to be fit and likes to exercise a lot.
I watch him drew closer as he takes a stance. From what I could tell, this guy is proficient in using the sword.
Of course, I would not back down in this type of challenge as it would give me more experience.
I carefully draw two knives on my vest and also took a fighting stance.

Yu Iljao suddenly shouted as his figure dashed like lightning towards me. It was a kendo-style fast attack that aimed to hit my head.

The swift sword cuts through the air as the middle-aged figure and a young man stood with their backs facing each other.
Yu Iljao walks sideways while slowly twirling the sword in his hand. His eyes did not leave the figure of his opponent. He was a bit shocked upon seeing the ability of the young man to dodge his attack. He could just curse upon thinking that his opponent is truly not a simple being.
Super-powered people are really something else.
The two circles while facing each other, then Yu Iljao consecutively attacked Xin Wei while he dodges each blow.
If one can observe Xin Wei's action, one could tell that he is currently observing the stance, the move, and the attacks of his opponent. Each move of Yu Iljao did not escape his observing eyes.

They heard the loud sound of something landing on a metal object.
Then they saw a large ten-wheeler truck passing by and on top of it is the figure they are trying to shoot.

The snipers tried to shot the figure but he easily dodges their bullets as if he could see where they are aiming at.
"Damn it! We should get that guy!" shouted detective Fa Longlin.
The police officer beside him did not say anything and just gave a slight sneer on his face. He then looks at the stunned man in the middle of the road.
"Get the paramedics!" he shouted.
This is because he could see that there is a long gash on the man's belly and back. That attack was too fast that it made him feel a slight shiver on his spine. He did not expect that such a monster would appear in the inner city.
They knew that if this person could not be stopped and the syndicates stepped in, then the whole city would be turned into a war zone.
Upon thinking to this point, the officer could not help but really fear anxious and afraid. Though they have been working under the syndicates, yet they never wanted to involve many innocent civilians in this battle.
While thinking to this point, he received a call from his intercom.
"Captain, we spotted the target…"
"Attack! Kill on sight!" he said without hesitation.

I could easily see their attacks and it was not hard for me to dodge them. But I must lead these people in a place where I could free myself from their prying eyes.
From the corner of my eyes, I saw an underground passage about 2 kilometers away from my position.
To get there, I must get off from this highway. And so I jumped to the side.
