I watch them fight and could tell that the three people have strange abilities. From the way they look at the guy they are trying to kill, I could tell that they are looking down on him. As I listened to their talk, I was a bit taken aback upon hearing what they were saying.
This guy who has been following us for a while now knew too much about Lin Ting. For me, this is good news. Though I have gathered much information about that guy, I still think that getting more would be a good thing.
However, I could not just casually trust anyone at this point in time. I am also wondering why this guy is secretly following us.
The shooting from the other side of the building has annoyed me for a bit, so I decided to take care of them first.
Grabbing a piece of broken metal on the side, I took an aim and suddenly threw that piece of metal towards the other side of the building.
I could see the person on the other end was hit directly to his forehead. However, I suddenly discovered that there is someone beside him.
I did not hesitate to take my aim, but that person has already hidden.
Before I could do anything, I heard one of the three men shouting.
"We have another enemy! Everyone check your vicinity, find them and kill them!"
I did not have time to play stealth as I could tell that they are about to kill the man in front of them. I did not have a choice, but to reveal myself. I threw two broken steel railing of the windows towards their raised weapons.
Puchi! Puchi!
I saw their hands being pierced.
Then they pointed their guns towards my location. I also did not hesitate to lift the rifle hanging on my side.
Bratatat! Bratatat!
Rapid gunfire erupted in the air as we exchange gunshots.
I rapidly moved while dodging their bullets and suddenly jump out of the window. I took an aim at the armed men below me, and while falling, I shot multiple times taking their lives. As I landed on the ground, those men are already dead.
"Kill that bastard!" shouted the man who seems to be their leader.

Wan Fang saw that it seems that someone was helping him. Although he is a bit tired and weak, he forces himself to escape.
He also jumps from the window but was able to grab through the ledge of a broken fire escape.
His body slammed on the railings and his face showed a pained look on them.
Then before he knew it, he could feel his consciousness slowly blacking out due to his wounds.
He swung himself to the broken fire escape and landed heavily which shook its whole rusty frame.
Then everything went blank as Wan Fang felt himself passing out. He could not care anymore and could only think of what he has been doing all his life.
His obsession with that woman, made him turned crazy. He did a lot of crazy things just to survive and was able to get a foothold in the gang. But it seems that all of his efforts are now gone.
He did not know how long he has been unconscious but when he opened his eyes, he suddenly found himself lying inside a cozy room.
"Ugh… What… What happened to me?" he muttered as he tried to stand up.
But the pain in his body stopped him from moving. Suddenly, his eyes caught a figure lying on the sofa and his eyes went wide in disbelief.
This is because he knew clearly who that figure is. That beautiful face, the milky white skin, he could not forget them even in his dreams he longed to touch them once again and conquer her.
But before he could delve into his fantasies, he is once again assaulted by a bout of pain which made him slowly lie on the bed.
He could see some well-wrapped bandages on his body and then his eyes drifted on the figure sitting crossed-legged on the floor with his eyes closed.
That guy is really just a teen.
He then knew that he was saved, for what purpose, that he did not know. But this is a chance for him to get close to the woman he has been looking for, for a long time.
His eyes slowly observe the room. He then saw a bag full of weapons lying on the table. He is now wondering how he was able to escape the besiegement of those three notorious Hunters.
It is known that Hunters are hard to deal with. They are fast, agile, and strong. Unlike most ordinary super-powered beings, hunters are the cream of the crop. The top of the food chain and is recruited by a strict standard.
His ability almost got him in. But someone which he accidentally offended stopped him from being one.
But still, his skillset is enough for him to be a Hunter, plus his unique ability to negate any special powers is also a great bonus.
While thinking to this point, he suddenly heard the woman slightly moaning as the sofa rustled.
"She's awake!" he excitedly thought as he opened his eyes.
The woman noticed this and was a bit surprised when their eyes met.
"Hey, Young Wei… the man is awake." She said as she turns towards the bathroom.
A hint of disappointment flashed in Wan Fang's eyes upon seeing her action.

I stood up and walk to the side of the bed. And there is was…
I could immediately tell that something is wrong with my body. I even saw that all of my Qi is down to zero upon approaching the scar-faced man.
"Who are you, and why are you following us?" I asked directly.
The man seemed to be surprised by my question, but his eyes turned shifty.
"I… I wasn't following you… I'm just traveling to the inner city, that's all…" the man said as if finding his reason.
But his action did not escape my scrutiny. I already know that he is following us, for what purpose? That is what I wanted to learn.
"You don't have to lie… If I am not satisfied with your answer, I will directly throw you out there." I threatened.
It seems that the man was a bit scared. Well, how could he not be? I am assuming that he is still thinking that those three are still out there looking for him.
When I fought those three after saving this guy, I was really surprised.
I did not expect that these men have already gained too much power and strength.
I first dispatch all of their underlings, one by one, and then stopped the bleeding of this guy. I then met those three on the rooftop.
From one glance I could already tell that those people are not simple. Their shots a very precise that they even made me feel a bit flustered. I got a few grazes on my body before escaping their barrage of gunfire.
I also retaliated and hit them, but those two large guys seem to have some kind of protective barrier on their bodies. They are even able to protect the other guy which made me waste my bullets.
After exhausting our guns, the four of us took out our blades. I felt a bit afraid at this point because, if bullets could not penetrate their shield, how much more my knife?
But I soon discover something weird. One of the burly men who look like twins is showing weakness.
It seems that the gunshots, I precisely shot at them are not that useless after all.
Then again, I was once again surprised to know that these three have a very fast reflex that seems to rival mine.
At that time, I have known that I am not that special. There are still super-powered people that can rival me in this world.
Plus, I discovered, that their wounds could heal easily. From what I could tell, it was the ability of the other burly man.
As the three of us exchanged blows, my heart became a bit excited. I can now fully use my strength and speed in a real fight. In this battle, I was forced to heighten my senses to the max, while using all of my strength and stamina. It was a very tiring, but also the most rewarding fight I have experienced so far after entering the city.
And this has made my heart swell with joy and exhilaration. And of course, that is not the only reason why I am becoming increasingly happy in this battle.
The reason for this is simple. It is because I can feel and have noticed that my strength is actually increasing. Then I saw it… and what I have seen made me feel excited at that time.
My strength stats have actually grown by one point.

"You… why did you save me?" the man named Wan Fang said while looking at us.
However, it seems that he is not afraid and I can also see self-assurance in his eyes. I know that this person is relying on that mysterious ability of his that could turn my Qi into zero at an instant. But, let's just see why this person is really that important…
"Well, I save you because you have your use to me. But if I discover that you are of really no use, then I will take your life myself." I said with a threatening tone.
I could see a little shuddering in his shoulder which means this man is afraid.
This guy always looks at Xiao Rin in a weird way; it's like he knows who she is… Hmm… Wait a minute… don't tell me, she is the reason why this guy is tailing us?
If so, then he might know her.
I suddenly lifted the guy up with one hand and then grab his neck. I should show him my true strength so that he would know who he is dealing with.
"I think you are following us because of her… Do you know her?" I suddenly asked in a strong tone.
"Ack… No… No… Ack!"
"If you spit out lies, I break your neck. Although the information you carry might be of use, I can still get it anyway…"
"Ack… No… Wait… Ack, ack!" the man struggled in my hands as I could see his face turning pale.
Xiao Rin on the side is already shifting her gaze away as she did not want to see me choking the guy.
"Alright, tell…" I said as I loosen my grip.
"Cough… cough… I… I know her from before… I… cough… cough… I was one of her customers…" he said as he tried to catch his breath.
"Oh, I see… Then what information do you have about Lin Ting?" I suddenly asked directly.
The man was a bit taken aback and surprised as he did not expect me to ask about the boss of the whole Serpent Gang.
"If you tell lies, then I will kill you. If I know that your information is lacking, then I will still kill you. Remember, I already raided the Blue Serpent Gang's base…" I said with a smirk.
From what I could tell this man followed us starting when we left from the Blue Serpent Gang base, so I know that he came from that place.
"Yes… Yes… well… about Boss Lin Ting… What I know about him is…"
The man began to tell us about Lin Ting's schedules, his ways, and the pattern of his movements. He even told us about the women he collects for the leaders of the gangs and their monthly orgy. It was a bit sickening but there is nothing I can do about it. This is their reality now, all I want is my revenge and I am not some saint to save all mankind.
I then discovered that the organization already knew that I was alive. And there might be Hunters that are sent our way. But I am confident that they could not find us that easily. Although killing those guys from before would prove our existence. I need a way to lose them.
After listening to his words, I could tell that the information he gave us is correct. Suddenly he began to shake in fear as he seemed to realize something.
"Don't worry… I am not like others… I don't turn back from my promise. However, stalk us again, and I will put you in your place."
I stood up and gestured for Xiao Rin to follow.
The two of us left the man inside the room. He is still wounded and cannot, move.

After Xin Weir and Xiao Rin left the dilapidated building, Wan Fang tried to stand up but it was to no avail. His body was heavily wounded and he is still weak.
He saw that on the table there is food left, and a slight sneer appears on his scarred face.
"Do you think I am a poor bastard that would just accept your alms… Just you wait! I will have Xiao Rin in my hands… She is mine and mine alone to enjoy… Hehehe…"
Wan Fang began to fantasize about what he would do to Xiao Rin once he gets his hands on her. Even though he is wounded, he could not help himself but be aroused by his way of thinking.
His face contorted as he lewdly thinks about her. Then his hand slowly crawls down under his pants. Before he could do anything, a voice suddenly echoed inside the room.
"I don't think I could leave a threat alive… If you did not have such thoughts, then you might have lived longer… Just blame yourself for your own selfish folly…"
"That's right! You're a bastard!" Xiao Rin shouted in the background.
The expression on Wan Fang's scarred face turned ugly as his eyes drifted to the window. From where he stood, he saw two shadows on the opposite building.
Although it was a bit of a distance, he could still clearly see a rifle being pointed in his direction. Then his eyes landed on the sofa where the voice was coming from.
He could not believe that he was heard because of two walkie-talkies hidden inside the room.
Before he could regret it, he suddenly felt something biting him on his chest. Then his eyes slowly look at the hole as his consciousness slowly faded.

I did this for the sake of Xiao Rin who has agreed to help me. I guess she has her uses later on, but for now, I could not let anyone who is of threat to her life.
Suddenly, I heard some footsteps coming from below.
"Enemies? How did they find us that easily?" I muttered as I grabbed Xiao Rin's wrist and we both run to the door.
"We have incoming enemies… I want you to hide over there. Make sure not to go out no matter what happens. I will get you after I take care of these guys…" I said as I pointed her to the bathroom of the room we are in.
She nodded her head and hide inside, I could tell that she even enter the bathtub.
"Good… Auntie?" I muttered slightly smiling as I suddenly remember that Xiao Rin is not my junior but she is actually almost at the age of my mother.
So auntie would be the right way to call her, right?
My train of thought was interrupted as I heard some people coming up the stairs.
"They're fast… I wonder how they are able to track us." I thought as I suddenly dashed to the side.
"Hmmm… This is not good. More than twenty enemies…" I muttered as I slowly take out a dagger on my back.
Then before the first armed man appears by the door, I have already dashed and plunge the dagger on his chest.
Puchi!
The dagger easily penetrated the man's chest. Luckily this guy is not wearing any Kevlar vest, if not it would be difficult for me to strike a killing blow.
Before I could heave a sigh of relief, I saw another figure coming from the stairs.
I could tell that there are around three people coming up, without hesitation, I began running towards the stairs. The person who suddenly saw me appear in front of him was a bit taken aback. Before he could even lift his gun, I quickly slice the knife in my hand towards his neck.
Then following that, I took a side step and then quickly kick the next person sending him flying towards the man behind him.
The two fell on the stairs and their rifle suddenly began shooting everywhere.
With my current state, I could see bullets flying randomly all over the place. It was very unpredictable, so I have no other choice but to jump to the side and dodge.
Bratatat!
The sound of gunfire reverberated through the air as the windows began to be ablaze as the rain of bullets shattered everything in the corridor.
I also could not hesitate and grab the rifle hanging on my side as I suddenly fired two bullets towards the two who are falling down the stairs.
I did not have time to watch them die as I suddenly jump down from the railing towards the ground.
The bullet began flying all over the place as the men coming up the stairs pointed their guns towards my falling body.
But then, I quickly shot them as my body began to turn while falling to the ground.
Bratatat! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bullets flying, metal shells falling, and the smoke of gunpowder filled the air.
Bam!
I landed on the ground with a heavy thud, breaking the tiles underneath my feet.
As I slowly stood up, from the entrance of the building I could see a sexy-looking figure standing while looking at me with a proud smirk on her face.
"It seems that you are my prey…" she said while slowly putting on her night vision goggles.
