In the dark corner of a ruined room, three figures are huddled together trying to keep their bodies warm from the biting cold of the night. When Bai Yunya learned that there are people coming, she did not listen to Xin Wei's words and immediately left the room.
This is because she has learned that staying in one place is very dangerous. So she convinced the two women with her to leave the room and transfer to another building 2 blocks away from where they are hiding.
When they heard the gunfire and the explosions, their hearts were very nervous. They wanted to run further, but they decided to just stay and not move from where they are currently hiding.
While the three are huddled together to keep their bodies warm, Bai Yunya decided to follow the technique that Xin Wei taught her. And soon for some reason, the two beside her began to cuddle around her as if they feel comfortable.
He herself did not notice this and just continue the feeling she is experiencing as she continually gathers the energy in the air and begins circulating it around her body.
She noticed that while she is doing this, she felt her body becoming calm and her fatigue seem to be diminishing and an unknown strength is filling her body.
Meanwhile, back to the building where they were hiding before, Xin Wei and two women are inside another dilapidated room.

The female soldier that her sister calls as Viper is still unconscious as I laid her on the bed. I wanted to leave them, but my conscience seems to be inclined to believe that these two women are weak and needed my protection.
But I am also worried about those three as I don't know where they are right now. After settling the two down inside the room, I decided to look for them outside.
I jumped out of the window from the third floor then I climb to the roof with ease. I can see the expression of Feng Fandai as if she is looking at some monster as she looks at me with astonishment and fear in her eyes.
I began scanning the surroundings and try to detect any trace of those girls. While doing this, I suddenly noticed that in the direction of the ruined convoy of vehicles, I noticed some figures taking things out of those cars I destroyed.
"Scavengers…" I muttered while looking in that direction.
But then I noticed that many of those people are young men and women who seem to be free from any worries as they began taking some parts from those vehicles and even some scrap metals. I left everything in there and only take what I need. I don't care about weapons, as my body is already strong enough and is already my strongest weapon, though I still use guns for convenience.
Suddenly something caught my attention as I could feel the Qi in the air seem to be flowing in a certain direction.
My eyes darted towards a tall building one block away from where I am standing.
I quickly darted in that direction as I am thinking that there is another person that is able to absorb Qi in the air. At least I can meet another fellow who knows how to cultivate Qi like the old man. This made my heart feels excited.
I remember that Bai Yunya seems to also learn cultivating a while ago, but her technique in absorbing Qi is not the same as this flow that I am feeling in the air. What she did before was to create a whirlpool and absorb the Qi after the spinning filtration.
But this feeling of Qi flow in the air seems faint and like a normal airflow. If I am not familiar with the Qi flow in this area, I would have thought that this is a normal thing. But since I know how the Qi flows in here and its meager amount, I knew that someone is cultivating Qi near here.
Soon, I arrive inside a building that seems to be a hotel before.
As I spread my senses, I suddenly pick up a familiar scent. My mind suddenly becomes clear as I slowly open the locked door with ease.
Inside the room, in a corner, I saw three women. Two of them are sleeping, and the other one is actually cultivating Qi. Bai Yunya has already reached such a state that she is now able to manipulate Qi naturally and is able to refine it at the same time.
She seems to have changed her clothes, I knew that when she was cultivating before, a lot of impurities from her body were expelled.
I did not want to disturb her, so I slowly step away and waited outside.
After an hour, Bai Yunya opened her eyes and a smile appears on her beautiful face. I carefully knock on the door which seems to frighten her as her scared eyes darted towards the slightly opened door. I could tell that she was surprised when our eyes met.
"Xin… Xin Wei… You… you found us…" she said with a big smile.
"Yeah, I followed the trace of the Qi in the air," I said as I enter the room.
The two are still asleep comfortably, and I did not want to wake them up.
"You guys should stay here for a while. I have to take care of some things…" I said while I take out some of the food I found inside this ruined hotel.
It seems that a lot of people have entered this place and thought that they have already taken everything in here.
However, I still found a lot of canned goods and some chips in the basement. I then put those on the side of the room.
"Since you are able to cultivate Qi, I could teach you some moves. But do not use this to those who you intend not to kill, do you understand?" I said with a warning tone.
I then taught her some sure strikes that could utilize her newfound strength. I knew that with this, Bai Yunya would be able to protect the two unless they encounter someone with a gun. So besides teaching her a martial art move, I took her to the roof and then let gave her a handgun.
Teaching Bai Yunya is a bit easier as she seems to learn and absorb everything like a small child. I knew that she is older than me, but right now, I am the teacher and she is the student.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A couple of shots were fired from the roof of the hotel and she soon got the handle of the handgun. She was able to utilize Qi control on the bullets which made it more powerful as it easily penetrated even the reinforced concrete.
"Good, hopefully, you can protect those two while I'm gone. You can even teach them in this place. But be careful of others who have guns…"
"You will be gone for just a day, right?" she suddenly asked with a hint of concern in her voice.
"Umm… I nodded."
"Thank… thank you… Master…" she said while she bowed her head while cupping her fist.
"Geez… I'm not your master… In fact, I'm younger than you are… I'm still in high school you know." I said with a smile.
"Re… really?" Bai Yunya looked askance at me.
"Well, yes… But if I did not stop, I should be a first-year in college student. But things happened… So…"
She seems to be happy for some reason as she showed me a gentle smile on her face.
"You know… this is the first time that we really have a talk… Hihi…" she said with a slight chuckle.
My heart feels warm at this time. I could feel that I am getting along with my fellow, escapee. In this place which looks like a god-forsaken world, I seem to have found some friends.
We talked for a while before I left the roof of the building and came back to where Feng Fandai and her sister were.
As I enter the room, I saw Feng Fandai sleeping on the bed beside her wounded sister.
Then I suddenly noticed the wounded woman on the bed slowly opens her eyes. Our eyes met and she suddenly jerked. But her quick movement seems to send her pain as she winced.
Feng Fendai immediately woke up and sat up from the bed.
"Wan'er… Are you awake?" she said as she tried to calm her sister down.
"Calm down… He… he is here to help us…" she said as she carefully hugged her sister.
Feng Fendai looks at me awkwardly. I just nodded my head and walks out of the room. I decided to try and search for food in this area. Though I did not want to, I need to get some information from those two, so I need them with me… for now.

I saw the look on the young woman and I could sense fear in her eyes. I wanted to know why she is afraid of me, so I walk near her and asked.
"Why are you afraid of me?"
When she heard my voice, I noticed her hand shaking a bit.
The female soldier named Feng Wanya shifted her gaze and dare not look me in the eyes. I felt somewhat confused why this woman is afraid of me when I saw her already fainting when I enter the room. However, I did not want to linger in this matter any longer as a more pressing issue in my mind is at hand.
"Alright, what I want from the two of you is information about Lin Ting. I want to know everything…"
The two women began telling me what they know about Lin Ting and the Serpent Gangs under him.
There are five Serpent gangs under him with different colors. Blue, green, red, black, and white, are the colors of the serpent gangs under Lin Ting's command.
White Serpent and Black Serpent are the most powerful gangs, while the rest are according to their color hierarchy with Blue being the lowest.
As I heard the explanation about the gangs around Lin Ting, I was a bit taken aback. This means that Lin Ting actually holds great power in the outer part of the city.
Though I did not want to agree on it, I think that it would be hard for me to get my hands on that guy. However, with my current strength, I know that it is enough for me to topple his army and exact my revenge on him.
While listening further, I also learned that Lin Ting might have developed his abilities just like Yu Bai who showed his uncanny powers in front of the cameras.
I know that by showing this, he would deter the whole nation from taking action towards the H city. As the whole city is their hostage, the government would dare not take action against them for fear of implicating millions of people.
As I learned more about the gangs and the syndicate, my heart was clench in heavy regret. I knew that everything happened because of me. My family and my childhood friend died because I poke a hornet's nest and were attacked by their venomous sting.
I clenched my fist and swore in my heart that no matter how powerful the enemy is, I will still get my revenge, slowly but surely I will destroy them all.

The next day…
Three people are currently walking in a particular direction. From what Xin Wie has learned from the two female soldiers, they are currently going in the direction of a small supply depot which is the headquarters of the mercenary group that belongs to their battalion.
With the battalion losing more than 100 soldiers and heavy vehicles, the two knew that the new commander would surely kill or capture them to vent his anger.
They did not know what would happen next, but it seems that they have no choice but to obey the young man before them or else their lives would be forfeited.
Soon they arrive in an area where there are many houses, and Xin Wei would smell the rancid odor of people in the area.
"This is the place where many of the mercenary families are staying. Though it does not show much, yet it still is able to house and protect the families." Feng Fenda said showing melancholy in her eyes.
"Che… house? Protect? This place is nothing more than a pen for the commander to hold those that belong to the army as a hostage." Suddenly the ever quiet Feng Wanya said with a hint of disdain in her tone.
"Sshh… People are coming…"
The figure of Xin Wei suddenly vanished from his spot. This left the two women feeling a bit astounded. They knew that the young man with them is powerful, but they truly did not know the extent of his power. But his speed is truly terrifying.
As the two suddenly crawl to the ground and hid behind a wrecked car, a group of 5 armed men slowly came walking from one of the street corners.
"That's a patrol group… I knew the guy that's leading them. He always has his sight on me…" Feng Fenda said in a low voice.
"But you end up with the captain instead… You rather have a relationship with a married man…" Feng Wanya scowled on the side.
"What do you know? At least Captain… at least he treats me well. I would rather be a mistress than to be with that animal." Feng Fenda replied with a hint of regret in her tone.
She saw that the captain shot her sister at that time and she was unable to react due to fear. Although she did not love that guy and his death is nothing to her, she still felt at a loss.
But knowing that the captain shot her sister, Feng Fenda has a complicated feeling which until now she could not get over.
While hiding in the wrecked car, they watch as the patrol group passes by. When the group was near them, the two heard what the group is talking about.
"Hey, Sergeant… Is it true that you already got your hands on that woman Feng Fenda?" suddenly one of the soldiers asked with a grin on his ugly face.
"Haha… Nah… that woman is a bit hard to deal with. But I got my eyes on the tomboy sister of hers." The tall and burly sergeant said.
"No way man,… your taste is getting weirder…"
"What do you know… In our battalion, there are only a few women. And most of them can fight and is hard to deal with. However, they are all under the protection of the previous commander and are given to the Captains… But those tomboys are different… Hehehe…"
Upon hearing this and looking at the expression of their captain, the eyes of the four suddenly glowed in understanding.
"You mean…"
"Yeah… You just have to use force though… Hahaha… If you can…"
Upon imagining the figure of Feng Wanya, the four other men showed lewd faces.
Although Feng Wanya shaved her head and even her brows, no one can deny the fact that her figure is topnotch and now that everyone in the base knew that she is the sister of Feng Fenda, the men knew that she is actually a beauty hidden beneath that façade of boyish behavior and face paint.
At first, only a few knew the real name of the woman they called Viper.
She is always quiet and would only follow behind the commander. But after the base learned of the destruction of the last company that was sent out and the total annihilation of the heavy vehicles, everyone discovered that only two people are missing in the company, and both have the surname Feng.
The new commander of the mercenary battalion gave a manhunt order for the sisters and this exposed the true identity of the woman named only as Viper.
But of course, no one would want to look down on those two ladies. One is a spy and expert in information gathering, while the other is a good marksman. They would not recklessly chase after them unless they get their information right.
While the group are chatting and laughing wildly, the expression of Feng Wanya turned serious.
"Do not project your killing intent…" suddenly her sister who is sitting on her side warned.
As a soldier and someone who is already used on a battlefield, Feng Fendai was taught that humans are actually sensitive to killing intent. This is especially true to those soldiers who are used in battle. They could feel killing intent towards them and could sometimes even trace them back to the source.
And Feng Wanya knew of this because she is a sniper. She knew that she almost commit a big mistake.
Suddenly, before the two of them could heave a sigh of relief a figure appears beside them.
"Run!" Xin Wei who just appears said as he quickly grabs the hand of the two.
He did not have time to think of anything else as he suddenly threw the two women towards a wall.
With his strength, he easily flung them to a safe distance.
Ka-Boom!
The car behind him suddenly exploded as much debris was flung towards him.
Some even scraped his tough skin and leaves a white line on them.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the street, the patrol squad that just passes by that are is now running towards the explosion.
Leading the group is a burly man with a grenade launcher in his hand and a wide grin on his face.
This burly man is Captain Leng Fanhao, the leader of the patrol squad, and has his eyes on Feng Wanya. When he felt the slight killing intent a while ago, he knew that someone is watching their patrol group. As an experienced soldier and someone who has awakened his own ability, he could trace back someone who wanted him dead.
And so upon finding the location of the enemy, he quickly fires a shot. Who would have known that he could see two women jumping out of harm's way? He could clearly see who those two are, and now his excitement is over the roof.
Who would have guessed he would be very lucky today to find the Feng sisters. He would not waste this chance and could not wait to have his hands on those two beauties. Of course, after he has his way with them, he would gain some military merits by capturing them.
With that in mind, Captain Leng Fanhao excitedly run towards the house behind the burning wrecked car.
