Capítulo 81: Standards (Poem)
The stakes will always be high
While the time quickly passes by
We can think that we have it all
Until one, fateful day makes us fall
And then, what do we do?
Start again, clean, fresh, and new?
Yes
But no
Because where would you even think to go?
In order to rise, it takes work
It takes obedience
And passion
Stabbing harder than any use of a fork
We are not perfect
We are not supreme
We are not robots
Hardwired cars, gadgets, or machines
Only One can claim the title
The only One who's glory is vital
We can do this, that, back, and then some
But how if...
If existence was never allowed to come?
We have a place
A great place
Greater than any new discovery in space
But it's beyond just an ordinary spot
Not like a grocery store parking lot
It's a home
It is home
It's our home that stands alone
We can be there
We can rest there
We can live there
But...
How much do we really care?
The world strives to be a paradise
When we're breaking our backs just to suffice
Some rich laugh
They trash
They fake a gasp
As if they're so high class
Well, there's a slate
And it's cleanly wiped
Because He is in the picture
Day and night
And no man can ever reach His height

Sava_254 High in position or not, it won't ever matter. Because the One who holds the true power is the Lord our God. Without Him, we have no purpose. We cannot function correctly if He does not allow for it to happen. And, that's an incredible feat. Because what He does and why He does it is for the best of us all. Beyond what the world could ever project. So you're allowed to celebrate your success, but, never forget Who granted it in the first place. And, that nothing can ever compare to Him.
