The Admiral said that the situation would not calm down, that they were facing a future of war between two nations, and that if they stayed, avoiding conflict, they would forever be seen as cowards who had no place in Sennas.

Serenica tried to tell her friends that there were no good options available for them and whatever they did, someone would get hurt and their best bet would be leaving the bookkeeper in Aja Vana once the child was born and the treasure taken, but Myorka did not want to part from her crew, let alone her husband.
