The system notice was still embedded in the forefront of my mind. More so when one considered the foe infront of me. 

It looked deadly and disgusting. Layers and layers of of mud, earth and the trimmings of the fallen swamp trees formed it. Standing talk three times my size I couldn't help but feel excited to face it. 

Even with all the excitement, I forced myself to refocus. If I lost all reason then this monster will succeed where the dead bastards of the third floor failed.

At first the thought came to me to simply use Aura strikes to eliminate it, however that wouldn't be a good plan. With how thick mud is, I had no doubt I could cut through it. The problem would be freeing my blade after. 

If it could harden its body and limit my movement, I would first lose a weapon and shortly my life. This couldn't be a reckless attack.

Thinking about it a little more, I finally decided on magic.
