Capítulo 55: 055 Strategic Retreat

Overwhelmed.

That is the only world I could ever hope to use in order to describe our current predicament.

Fighting against wave after wave of violently bloodthirsty soldiers in this sea of people, has shown me one thing very clearly.

At our current pace with the strength we have, there is no hope of being able to overcome this challenge.

The momentum that I originally had when first engaging the mass in deadly duel was quickly dying down. Not only was I starting to breathe heavy but with all the spells Ventus was casting, she was burning through our combined mana supply much faster than anticipated.

The various spells she was using were powerful. Almost to a frightening degree. They gluttonously Consumed the lives of many as each one struck down on her victims.

Several times throughout this battle the same thought would go through my head. 

Ventus is killing a lot more than me...Where had her morales gone.
