Capítulo 53: 053 Battlefield Morality

"Em."

"Yeah?"

"We have a plan ready in order to deal with that woman so I'm not worried about that, but my question is what do we have to do to get to her?"

Ven motioned her hand downward towards the many soldiers.

"There are too many soldiers in between us. How do we go about this?"

I responded without ever tearing my eyes off of my prey.

"Massacre." I whispered back.

Ven strained her neck a bit towards me, making sure she heard me correctly.

"I don't think I could hear you correctly Em, what exactly did you say?"

I responded back a little louder.

"Kill them...Kill all of them Ven. Since they've sided with the Kings, then that means they've chosen death."

A few moments of silence passed before she awkwardly responded back.

"That would make sense. It's clearly the logical thing but...I-I-I've never killed a person before..."

Her statement sobered me up momentarily from the state of animalistic behavior I was falling into.
