What? 

Marlena gasped under her breath. Under any other circumstances, she would assume the queen was out of her mind and spewing whatever insanity crossed her thoughts first. But that was exactly the same question Prince Zephyr had asked her earlier. Could there be some truth in it? She tried to still her heart as she waited for the king's response. 

"Don't be ridiculous." Cassius laughed. 

Loretta wasn't having it. She yelled at him. "Do you think I am a fool? You protect Regina so much. Who is she? Was she your secret concubine who sired your child?" 

"Loretta!" 

She flinched away thinking she would see something that would make her feel pity for the evil queen, but instead she heard Cassius's sneer. "If Regina and I were in that kind of relationship, she would be my queen by now. We both know she would make a better queen than you." 

That was harsh.
