Capítulo 31: A princess preparing for battle (2)

Delaney shot a glare at the prince and decided to ignore him. It was not odd for men to assume that women couldn't do anything aside from stay at home and please their husbands, but there was no way she could change everyone's mind.

"We need to prepare for war." She repeated her own words, ignoring the prince and focusing on Darius.

"Of course. Let's get going. But first, there's something I need to show you."

"I'm still here." Announced Axel, only to be ignored yet again.

"I don't see you." Darius pulled his wife away from him before he could get closer. He sent a warning glare at Axel before he could attempt to make a move on her.

Axel cleared his throat. "I'll get my side ready."

Delaney was relieved when they finally parted ways with the prince. If they continued hearing his crap, she was certain she would erupt and probably do something that would ruin Darius's reputation.
