Capítulo 53: His Prayer

"Lexie! you're here." Brenda called, but he was eyeing Albert up and down and Lexie didn't like that.

"Yeah, what's up?" Trying to hide her annoyance.

"Well, we girls are going to have our little party after this tonight so you shouldn't miss out." She said offering her a glass of wine. This is her first formal party so she took it.

Albert's interest for the first time was away from his wife, there are some businessmen in this circle that he has met before.

"Honey, I think I knew someone over there, enjoy the party with your friends okay?" He kissed her temple and went away.

Brenda, on the other hand, is fuming inside, it turns out, she really is Albert's wife.

"Stay here I'll go tell the girls you've arrived." She said with a fake smile.
