Capítulo 22: Weaponry

Allen left the sleeping dragon behind as he tucked it in the blankets and left the room quietly, while placing his hands over Atlas loud mouth to prevent him from waking up his new companion.

They both walked out of the castle as Atlas's knights followed him. Walking into the garden they walked into the dark forest that Allen hadn't ventured into yet.

"Did you know, I'm one of the best swords user in hell." he boasted, while Allen started shaking as he bursted out laughing.

Allen than started coughing fakely, which made Atlas looked at him weirdly. "Ah, I'm sorry. I'm allergic to liars." he said casually.

Atlas's face turned red as he looked away due to embarrassment.

"I'm joking! I'm sure you're great!" he encouraged as he patted his brother's back.

"really?" he asked with puppy eyes.

"For sure." Allen replied.

They both walked, following the pavement until the reached a big area where Allen could hear the sound of swords clashing against one another, he looked closer and saw a large luxurious tower that was modern looking and decorated with banners and banners of swords.

The area infront of them wad a field that people were constantly clashing against one another oblivious to Atlas and Allen.

"Drako's Knights" Atlas whispered to Allen and pointed to people who were decked out in armor as they fought. They both looked at the sparring with great intrest as Atlas made an awe sound.

Than suddenly the two knights that were following Atlas stood infront of them and looked at Atlas as if they were asking for permission, he then nodded his head.

"Drop your swords, Knights of Drakos. Show your respect to the second prince and the fourth prince of the Drakos family." one of them said loudly making sure everyone could hear his deep voice that projected around the field.

All of them looked at Allen and Atlas as their eyes widen and drop to their knees and bowed down. "Greetings to your highnesses." they all said in unison.

Atlas nodded as he tapped on his knights shoulder. "You may now proceed with your training" his knight said. Everyone slowly stood up and cautiously get back to training with one thing weighing their mind. 'That's.. the rumored fourth prince..?'

Grabbing Allen's hand, Atlas dragged him into a warehouse as he ran around and started showing off the weapons the warehouse had on display. "Does any of them pique your intrest?" he asked while showing Allen a bright shining sword.

"They aren't the best swords but once we know what weapon you do well with we can go purchase some." Atlas explained when he saw Allen looking at the sword with an unintrested face.

"I honestly don't know. I use to wield a wand in the past but I don't feel like using one currently." Allen admitted as he walked around the warehouse.

"How about we try some first, maybe if we do you'll find one you like. Let's try the claymore shall we?" he said as he picked up a sword as huge as Allen as he dragged it to him.

"No, absolutely not that." Allen answered immediately, the moment he saw it, he knew he won't even be able to pick it up due to his flimsy structure. He and the claymore sword is simply not compatible. He'd rather accept his death than fight back with such a huge sword.

"How about this?" Atlas showed him a bow than looked lightweight enough for Allen to wield.

"It could become a backup weapon, I don't mind." He walked around the warehouse and looked at the swords. They were rather large as they were specially made for the knights of Drakos, whose body figure are often huge.

After a while, he couldn't find anything that he would be able to hold without breaking his arms, Allen took the bow that Atlas offered and went out to the shooting range.

He pulled the strings with all his strength, aimed the arrow, his view becoming sharper, letting go of the string, the arrow hit right on the dot of the target.

"Impressive, I can't really help you with archery. It's auctually one of my weakness.." he shyly admitted. "Have you used a bow before?"

"I can teach you, even though this is my first time holding a bow." He started touching the strings and trying to adjust to it, he had no problem with the aim but it was uncomfortable and slightly hard to pull but it was much easier than using a sword.

"It's..your what now?" he asked, extremely baffled as he continuously witnessed Allen shooting piles of arrows right on top of each other effortlessly. He even moved back a few steps to make it harder but his aim never failed, the arrows eventually fell as they were being stacked on top of each other.

Allen looked at the how confused, he was well off with the aim but he felt like this wasn't what he wanted. Making a tch noise he turnt to Atlas. "Do you..have a small sword or a dagger?"

"I think we do have some. Let me take them out for you, stay here." he said as tried to remeber where the weapons Allen asked for were.

Allen nodded slowly as he raised his hand and thought, 'wouldn't this be the perfect place to practice magic and not burn down anything?' he slowly concentrated his mana into his hands and chanted a spell.

Fire started igniting from his hands, it was blood red in color as it moved around vigorously. Seeing the fire in such a weird color he felt uncomfortable and distinguish the fire.

Suddenly he had an idea, he saw many people do this when he used to hunt in dungeons. They use magic along with their weapons to provide maximum damage. He didn't have enough mana to do such a thing in the past, but now was the chance to do so as he had tremendously worked on his magic core until it was dark gray.

Allen turned to the target once again, he pulled the bow and started concentrating his magic at the tip of the bow, he aimed and shot. Fire could be seen soaring through the air at an incredible place, it hit the target and burned it to ashes in an instant.

He smiled a little as he was satisfied with his little adjustment. Atlas came right on time to witness the fire arrow that bursted through the air.

"What have you done to my brother?! I thought he was unskilled in these sorts of things!" he asked dramatically as he rushed at Allen and shook him.

"I just wanted to try..." he said as he gently pushed Atlas away.

"Aw, aren't you adorable?" he said in a high pitch voice as he attempted to squeeze Allen's cheek but was stopped by a fire that was weirdly coloured.

"What the hell is that?" Atlas said in disgust and confusion. The fire looked exactly like a shade of crimson which was not normal for a fire to look like, he could see it swaying too vigorously like trees in a hurricane.

"That's just weird." he ignored the fire and tossed Allen a dagger that had a black blade and was decorated with roses for the holder.

Allen awkwardly held the dagger, he had used one before for digging ores but never for attacking so it felt slightly weird.

Testing it on a dummy, he swing and stabbed but the damage was barely noticeable. He sighed in disappointment as he attacked again continuously.

"I don't really have the strength for this.." he said admitting his defeat.

"Yeah, the way you use the dagger is perfect but your strength s rather questionable.. You might need to work on that, exercise or something and get a body like mine" he boasted and pulled his shirt up revealing his toned body.

Allen looked at him extremely disgusted, he wasn't sure whether to be greatful he had such a bright brother or disappointed to have such an embarrassment for one. But nevertheless, Atlas had helped him plenty today. It would be rather rude to leave without showing his greatfulness.

Allen gulped, his face turning a bright shade of red. "Thanks..brother." he said quietly and quickly walked away in embarrassment.

Atlas jaw dropped once again, almost reaching the ground. His face turned to a huge grin and he laughed hysterically. "I HAVE SUCH A CUTE BROTHER!" he rushed to Allen once again with both his arms out hoping to be able to nab a hug.

"Bye." he said coldly, leaving Atlas in the dust.
