Capítulo 50: Chapter 42
[A/N:So one more chapter before going on a break.]
In the operating chamber, the Doctor approaches Zartan who sits on a gurney, scanning his PDA.Their are dozens of smart robots warm up as the Doctor flicks on switches.
As Doctor asked" Are you ready, Mr. Zartan?"
Zartan grinned and replied"Born ready, Doctor.This is going to be the achievement of a lifetime."
Doctor nodded and replied"Yes, as a master of disguise,you have no equal, my friend."as McCullen enters saying"Gentlemen. About to get under way?
Zartan raises his PDA saying"Once the ledgers are all square."
McCullen sighed and replied"Check your account." Zartan checks the PDA. McCullen shakes his head muttering"It's always about the money."
Zartan shrugged and replied" It's a useful tool. You should understand that. Ah! The transfer just hit my account."as Zartan puts the PDA aside, leans back on the gurney and cracks his Knuckles said"Eighteen months of studying the subject, learning the mannerisms,but the devil is in the details.Gentlemen, let's get it going.One more things."as he takes chip that is used for mind control programming from the machine saying"I'll control my own brain,thank you very much."
McCullen was not sure looks at the Doctor who didn't have problem with it,as he knew Zara was loyal to him.
The Doctor straps Zartan down, then starts the smart robots which converge on Zartan, injecting his body with dozens of long needles. He remains conscious, not feeling any pain. We zoom into a large needle which opens an incision behind his right ear. The needle feeds thousands of tiny Nano-mites into Zartan's head. Zartan's eyes bulge, he starts to scream and fight his restraints.
Doctor checking the reading said"Let's run some tests.Eye color. Skin tone. Hair follicles.And initiating facial reconstruction tests."as the nano-mites begin to reshape his appearance, reforming facial bones and changing the texture and elasticity of his skin and even changing the color of his eyes. The Doctor grins proudly. McCullen seeing this was slightly disturbed.
While both soon go outside.since Zartan wws unconscious, Doctor questions"What is wrong,McCullen?"
McCullen frowned and answered"The FBI burst into my company couple of hours ago,it seems they were able gather enough evidence against us."
Doctor sneered and said"You couldn't pull any strings to get out of this."
McCullen shook his head and with growl replied"No,they have too much evidence,I had Firefly do some digging on how they go all the evidence.It seems Kage our rival ninja is an expert spymaster,he was the one who found all the evidence.We lost some of our bases to the Joes."
McCullen was very angry having lost his billion dollar empire in just hours was not something he imagined.But he did have other ways to earn money,after all he was silent partner in multiple business ventures throughout the world.While McCullen didn't know,if he didn't have any thr Doctor would have killed him,as he would have lost his value.
Doctor taking his gloves off said"That's not good,it seems this Kage is becoming a thorn on our side."he turned to McCullen and continues"we need to move up our schedule."
McCullen didn't like Doctor giving him the order,but he knew this was the right choice,so he let it go and replied"It seems so."
Doctor questioned"Has Storm shadow and Baroness went to activate the Nano mites with DeCobray's particle accelerator."
McCullen nodded and answered"Yes,they have already gone,it won't be long before we have our hands on the weaponnized Nano-Mite warheads.
Baroness had married Daniel DeCobray to gain access to DeCobray Laboratoire Scientifique.
So they could use his particle accelerator lab to weaponize the Nanomites warheads.
Although McCullen didn't like the plan as he was lusting after Baroness,who was not even looking at him.McCullen didn't like the thought of Daniel laying hands on his woman.While it was interesting,
Doctor looked at McCullena asked"Now, if we sold one warhead on the black market,I could continue my research."
McCullen shook his head and replied"I appreciate your thirst for knowledge, Doctor,but this world is messy enough. No,What it needs is unification, leadership.It has to be taken out of chaos by someone with complete control.Beijing, Moscow,Washington...When these missiles detonate,the world will turn to the most powerful man on the planet."
Doctor rolled his eyes he knew the most powerful man is the mysterious owner of Arashikage industries,after all it was way ahead of anything he or McCullen could create in their life time.
Doctor with curious tone asked"So what is the plan?"
McCullen replied"After the warheads are weaponized,we take them to Paris."
Doctor had look of understanding as he asked"You want to test one."
McCullen nodded and replied"We'll let CNN show the world,how well they perform.Fear is a great motivator.I have a target in mind,one the French will never forget,as I've never forgotten
what they did to Clan McCullen."
