Capítulo 207: Chapter 207: JOSEPH AND ZEHARAH

Jacob knew that the angel was experienced,

Despite what one would call, a very tamed face.

His eyes were focused, sharp and waiting,

While his stance was ready, no fingers trembling.

The chance that he'd win is still pretty high,

But relying too much on his confidence, could end on a tie.

He quickly made sure, he is hidden well among his clones,

No matter how many, they are on his control.

No voice seemed distinct from the other,

Making Joseph wonder.

He flew higher and higher,

Waiting for the true leader.

But no one broke their character.

He sighed and continued to throw boulders tirelessly,

Wondering if the true Jacob would call it quits,

He produced spears from his energy, and hoped it would satisfy,

But his clones seemed endless, no matter how hard he tries.

But he knew there must be a fault in this creature,

He may still be considered weak compared to others.

After all, there must be a reason he isn't fighting alongside Lucifer.

"They're just many," Joseph reminds himself as he further wonders.

Jacob laughed along with his clones,

Mocking the angel's efforts.

But than give up, the angel kept fighting,

Not noticing a dangerous plot waiting.

As the clones kept reproducing,

The sight felt even more overwhelming,

Joseph had found out that the debris he threw at them were also an advantage,

As the clones used them to climb up near to him.

He again observes keenly, trying to find the original,

But no matter how hard he look,

They can't be told apart.

He felt nervous, not sure of where to start,

As the clones kept getting closer,

All wanting to piece him to parts.

.

.

.

The heavy atmosphere did not help him think,

But there was not much choice but defend.

Joseph tries hard to catch his breath,

He wanted to destroy all at once,

But they'd just multiply twice.

He felt irritated every passing time,

Had it been different if the other angels stayed by his side?

"No, this is good," he says in his mind,

"That way, they can save more lives."

The angel kept his positivity,

Despite his heart,

Already thumping nervously.

He tried his best to push the clones to their deaths,

As they had already multiplied, reaching the ceiling at best.

One thing he noticed though, as he was closer to them,

Was the fact that, one seemed different.

He blamed himself for not realizing earlier,

The original seemed to be wearing a bracelet of some sort.

More so, the original heals, for he had severed his arm before,

And Joseph thanks God, for the discovery, he realized upclose.

He just have to find out who heals among this imposters.

...

Sellena felt herself losing strength,

As her back poured blood, and stings in pain.

Despite her own injuries, she sung the baby a lullaby,

After it hungrily looks at her, and cries.

She felt regretful for everything she've done,

For being a defenseless mess, she have become.

She thought she was something, something strong and don't need much saving,

But she was no angel, she was just as weak as the one she carries.

She convinced herself that no matter her will to live,

She must still save the child, who now sleeps.

She kissed his forehead, and hoped for the best,

As she walked slower and slower, begging for rest.

Her hope had lived short when she heard a growl.

She gulped heavily and looked around.

She saw a huge hound, mixed itself with the darkness,

And wasting no time, Sellena quickly ran than hide.

She knew that the smell of blood had been attracting the hound,

And she wondered, just how many Lucifer house,

She ran and ran, and the baby felt distressed again,

Making it harder, to lose the hound, who detects them by sound and scent.

Sellena, frustrated, screamed at the child to stop,

But after the child cries, quickly apologized.

She looked around the dark hallways, and saw an exit,

She saw the skies, and felt joyful to know it.

She passed by open doors, all reeking in blood,

This must be where the angels have gone.

She saw chains, and bones,

She doesn't even need to look, she can feel it with her toes.

The mess the mission had made,

Was ignored by the woman in distress.

And when she finally reached the door,

Was quickly greeted by a man in cloak.

"You, make...so much noise,"

Sellena quickly opened her barrier,

And even attempted to attack the demon with slabs,

But under so much stress, and the result of being undertrained,

All of her efforts, seemed not enough.

She embraced the baby tight as she relied on her barrier,

But the demon was pushing her to the edge, his force becoming stronger and stronger.

Sellena remembered Leviathan,

And wasn't so sure how she did it that time,

How she survived and casted that floating slab,

That though appeared, still injured her back.

She decided to push forward, not wanting to die,

But the demon, despite her struggles, only laughed,

The feather she holds, fell on the ground,

But what she did not noticed, was that it glowed somehow.

She kept pushing and pushing, determined to save the child,

As the barrier thickens, thanks to the will she provides.

The baby on her arms, was oblivious to the threat,

As it decided to make gibberish noises,

Wanting to play.

Sellena yelled and that was when,

She heard a woman's voice, coming at them.

A quick flung of a sword, and off the demon's head,

And Sellena quickly wrapped things up, she was the angel's twin.

Zeharah smiles at her as she quickly pointed ahead,

"Go straight, and you'll find a set of ropes on the end,

You need to cross, but since you have a baby in your care,

Wait for me, until I get ther-"

Before she could finish, the head regrew,

As it was revealed, that it's Samael true.

The demon looked at her, with mockery on his eyes,

"You just sliced my head, and then quickly lowered your guard?"

Zeharah's eyes widened in shock,

"You traitor! We kept you in and for what?!"

"Don't be too angry, and don't blame me too much,

The real Samael is dead, and I'm but a new host, in his body trapped."

"I don't care! You still played us all!

You used a dear friend and made us fall!

I will kill you, I will kill you hard,

Because even if you deny it, I can smell from you, an angel's blood!"

"Well, I won't deny that part.

I did, in fact, killed a lot.

But aren't you too confident on yourself?

After all, you're just...one angel."

Sellena quickly panicked as she looked at Zeharah,

Who despite her anger, knew her own limitations.

Even her anger could barely plus much damage,

She prayed in her mind, if ever it was the end.

"It's alright, run towards the rope and try to get across without me,"

Zeharah told the woman who only shook her head and flee.

Zeharah's tears rolled from her eyes as she tried to contact for help,

But the other angels seemed too busy, also facing their near deaths.

"Such a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart,

Too bad my master wanted you to parts,"

"I am not here to talk and chat,

So if you really are strong, give me your best shot."

The demon felt amazed of her stern nature,

Despite the fact that her efforts would turn to failure,

He knew that such woman could not beat Azazel's creation,

So long as the liquid injected to him not run out,

He could regrow new limbs,

Oh the power of regeneration.

"You seemed to be shaking though,"

The demon teased as he observes her whole,

"I don't want to talk to you, haven't I said before?"

Zeharah replied, refusing to stay soft.

"Mmm, fine, I guess we can finally play,

Don't blame me though, I won't play easy just because you're a girl,"

"I'm not a girl. I'm a warrior,"

"Well I'm not buying, not even a little."

Zeharah quickly tried to get closer,

But was shocked when Samael only punched her.

She quickly felt herself almost losing her soul,

But for the sake of those she must save, she pushed herself to go on.

She blasted her long-ranged attacks just to cope,

But Samael was fast, and like her, refused to lose.

She jumped and flew, hoping to dodge him,

But the demon had also been given wings.

"You seemed to not have much concentration,"

Samael mocked, as he observed her pained expression,

"How can I? When you're full of ridiculous stitches and smell like rats,

If I'm being honest, you're really ugly, man,"

The insults did not bother Samael,

As he continued to attack her, with quick swipes and kicks,

Zeharah hoped her barrier would have it fixed,

But the force was so strong, it pushes her swift.

She groans in pain as her body refused to give more,

And the only prayer on her mind,

Was that she had it worse than her brother.

"I'm fine with this, so long as he's safer."
