The writing exam is pretty easy for her. After she was done with it, Mai went out of the test room to go to the school cafeteria. According to the U.A. guide book in her pocket, it looks like there's a break before the practical exam.
At that time, the candidates were free to explore the school. Not everywhere, of course. There are still some areas that were restricted. But the cafeteria was not one of them.
In those seven years after she fled from school, she pretty much became a semi-hikikomori and only went out of her room to do her mission, sometimes visiting Bic, or hunt for villains. She also does a lot of online shopping.
This is what happened when you had so much money but didn't need to do much labor. Other Japanese hard workers would probably strangle her to death out of envy if they ever knew about her life situation.
When Mai was inside her apartment room, she didn't only read manga and novels, but she also read some textbooks. A change of pace and a little bit of suffering was needed so that she could appreciate more of her happy reading session. That's how she has easily done the exam.
When Mai arrived inside the cafeteria, she saw that it was very deserted and all the seats were empty. Well, that makes sense, because she's the first one to finish the exam. She ordered one of the foods from the menu toward the chef, which is Cook Hero: Lunch Rush. The guy just gave her a thumbs-up and began to work rapidly.
She then sat on a random seat and waited for the food to be served. They do have some pre-served food on the side, but Mai wanted the freshly made one. It's more expensive, but money wasn't considered a problem for her.
Also, her witch hat is still on her head. It looks fantastic, so why not? But she needs to hand it over to the test overseer when she's taking the writing exam. And now, she got it back. It should've been hot wearing that, but her physique stats are higher than an ordinary person's. She wouldn't sweat just from a little bit of heat.
When the food arrived, Mai then removed her mask first before eating. Yup, she's wearing her demon mask just now. She was actually told to take it off before taking the exam. But she was then instructed to put it back on because her face made other candidates less focused on the exams.
Of course, that's because Mai has matured, even though her height hasn't increased so much. Her face that was supposed to be cool and cute has changed into cold and elegant. Those inexperienced kids who peered into her felt like their souls had frozen out.
As for Mai, she still thinks she's cute no matter what. Because being cute is better than being beautiful. That's how she thinks the universe works.
Back to the meal, Mai took a bite at the food that had been served by this school for the first time. Her hands couldn't stop taking more food after the first bite. It was truly delicious to the point that she wouldn't mind joining U.A. as a student just because of the food, but-
[Host-Host~, there's an hour left for the writing test to end! After that, there's another one hour for a break before the practical test starts! Good luck host (^.^)]
'Oh, thanks Ai-chan!' Mai said telepathically. The system has also grown up, it no longer stutters much anymore when talking to Mai. The system also somehow learned to use emoticons to state its emotion.
They became really close to each other because they read manga and novels together. Maybe that's why the system decided to confess to Mai just yesterday. Or maybe it's because she almost reached the power of level 100. Her leveling rule was the opposite of those main characters from fantasy novels. She didn't level up to earn stats but earn stats to level up.
Mai was the one who told the system to remind her of the schedule. Why would she go into so much trouble doing that if she could just have the system so it for her? Mai was proud of herself. She had finally discovered the system's full potential.
[Host, please don't determine my full potential on a whim! ≧Д≦]
Mai ignored the system. She takes a look at the very cleansed plate in front of her. With her enchanted eyesight, she can clearly see her reflection in there. She nodded to herself. 'Yup, I'm the cutest in the world!' It wasn't called narcissistic, it's a fact.
The food was good, so she wanted to order more. But just as she was about to stand up from her seat, she heard someone else's footsteps entering from one of the cafeteria entrances. Her troublesome sense was tingling.
She takes a look just to find a fairly tall teenage girl with a rather mature physique. The girl had long black hair tied into a spiky ponytail.
Mai knows that girl. If she remembered correctly, her name was Momo Something. Mai didn't like where this is going. She instantly put on her mask and stood up before hastily walking toward the other exit.
Momo Something, who just came to the cafeteria, saw this and quickly followed after Mai. She came to the cafeteria just to meet the infamous Vigilant Yaksha after all.
Mai noticed that she was being followed, so she walked faster.
"Wait...!" Mai can hear someone's voice calling her from behind, but she ignored it and continue to walk.
"WAIT!!!" The sound is getting closer. Mai felt that if she were to just run away here, the trouble will still receive her in the future, so she needs to stop it from now. She then stopped on her track and turned around.
Momo stops chasing and catches her breath after she saw Mai stood still. Even though Mai was just walking, Momo needs to run with all her strength just to keep up.
"I-" Before she can even say one word, she got pushed by Mai on the stomach and fall to her butt. Hence, she looks up at Mai in bewilderment.
"Begone THOT..." Mai said apathetically and then start sprinting away from that location.
"What?" Momo was confused. Why did the Vigilant Yaksha run away from her? Why did she push her down? She didn't know. As she remembered, she never even had any contact with this vigilante.
Momo then felt something vibrate from her chest. She put her hand in and pull out a handphone. It was a call from her father. She answered the phone call and put it near her ear.
"How is it go? You're meeting with her?" She heard the voice coming from the phone.
"It didn't go well, Papa. Also, It seems that she hates me somehow, and I don't know why..." Momo told her father sadly.
Her father just scratched his head on the other side of the call when he heard her daughter's sad tone. "I-Is that so... well, you can go home for now. I'm sorry to put you in that situation. Alright, see you soon, my dear..." And then the call got cut out.
Momo gazes at the sky from the nearby window. "What does THOT meant?" She asked herself. She had never heard about that phrase before. She would never know what that is even in the future because the word 'THOT' didn't even exist in her world.

Mai stops running after she knows that she's no longer being chased. She then fixed her witch hat that was tilted to the back and almost fall. She's not hating Momo though. It just that she felt it would bring her trouble if she were to associates herself with Momo.
It's not that she envies the boobs of someone her age or anything, certainly. Yeah, she likes cute things. And small chest equal cuteness. Really...
Really?
Then, an idea hit her head.
'Ai-chan, can I buy Touhou boo-'
[There's no way the system shop sells that kind of stuff! ≧Д≦ Host, you must respect yourself more! Moreover, your size is already good as it is! (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄ ]

'...Yes, you're right Ai-chan! I'm already cute beyond measure. I don't need those insignificant beings. Also, those things must be heavy. Their owners must have sprained their back. Haha. Ha↗ha↘ha↗ha↘ha↗.' Mai continues on to deny reality.
It was then that she remembered about something.
'Wait, what about Sakuya's pads?'

I wrote this chapter while listening to the AOT season 4 opening song...
It felt extraordinary!
