Mid moon finally rose, and I followed William closely, as low to the ground as we could get. Luckily the underbrush was unkempt and we could stand up pretty well once we got away from our camp. William still had me stay close to him as we jogged up the hill to the ridge.
Lady luck truly was on our side this evening. It was fairly cloudy and I could barely see William's back. I thought back to my dream and reached out to touch him. He stopped suddenly and I withdrew my hand but still ended up bumping into him. He smells so good... I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I need to focus.
"Sorry." I whispered. He just chuckled quietly and continued. We crouched low again and laid on top of the ridge looking over the edge at the valley below. To the right was a path in the trees, secluded and secretive. It led into ridge below us.
"Well there's only one entrance in or out and there are guards posted on either side. This is not gonna be easy."
