"Forgive me again, mate," Alanor said to Unar who looked at him skeptically.

For a moment, Unar was thrown off by Alanor's second request.

However, he looked around the room, studying the people in here, before Unar came to the conclusion that would not only break his heart.

It was but one that would make everyone in here question whether the young Wynter had a heart of steel, and if he ever felt anything.

Unar was thinking on overdrive, worrying about Alanor's next words, and yet for the same reason, he was scared.

He was scared that the first time he had someone who he would call his proudly, he would lose him, and all of this wasn't hard to associate with Edison, because from the very beginning, the king had been out to ruin the warlock.

Or rather, the beast of the Midlands.

'What if?' Unar thought to himself before pausing midway.
