"Your mate? Did you find him? Or her? I don't judge but what does your mate look like? Is he or she in Udrad? Say something, Unar," Ileus said when he noticed that Leroy was frozen from the shock of knowing a new truth.

It was a bombshell to them though.

"Are you okay?" Unar asked his friends who were still trying to get to terms with the reality that the prince had gotten a mate. They were curious, rightfully so, just like any lycan in Udrad, but beyond that, they were also curious to know if Unar was Alanor's mate.

They hadn't heard from Criselda or Ilya about what had happened other than the fact that Alanor was now in Udrad and his safety was entirely upon them, the two older lycans with more information than anyone else.

Was there a chance that Unar's mate was a man, and if yes could it be the stubborn kid they were to protect?

"J… just continue, child. Tell us what it is," Ileus said as he let out a frustrated sigh.
