Capítulo 15: Chapter 15 - Your New Life Starts Now
"What's that?" asked the shy Bastet as she pointed to the far side of the hot spring where she could see a green glow through the steam coming from underneath the water.
"That would be what heats the water for our bath. Underground rivers are usually cold in nature and I needed something to heat the water, so I used Greek Fire. I wanted to use the heat from the underground lave, but I'm using all that geothermal energy for my labs and the rest of the house," Styxx said,
"What's Greek Fire?" asked Tara,
"[Greek Fire] is a type of flame I can make with my quirk. It was named after the ancient Greek fire, which was said to burn green even underwater and was nigh impossible to put out," Styxx said as he summoned a small wisp of the flame on top of his finger.
The girls recoiled from the heat as if they were suddenly put in a burning building. After they got a look at it and felt the dangers of it, he quickly put it out.
"Isn't that dangerous to leave in a bath?" asked Fenrir,
"It would be but it's perfectly safe here, but I do have to warn you that the deeper you go towards the flame, the hotter the water would be. I think the water even boils around it, so be careful. If you get too hot, the streams from the golden statues shoot out the cold water from the river and that's what keeps the water near us at a great temperature," Styxx warned the girls, his eyes especially on Fenrir, who appeared to want to jump in immediately.
"Alright, let's go make your rooms," Styxx said as he led them out of the bathroom and back up the stairs, past the ground floor and into the 2nd floor.
Like Styx had mentioned before, he was still making renovations on this place, so while this floor was massive, it was empty and the only things here were vents on the ceiling pumping air into the floor and one square light in the middle.
"Alright girls, stay close,"
Styxx walked to the middle of the room and sat down cross-legged and the girls sat behind him and grabbed onto his tails just like they did before.
Styxx's eyes flashed a bronze color and slapped the ground in front of him. The room began to rumble as slabs of stone a meter and half wide lowered from the ceiling and fused with the ground, separating the empty area into 4 rooms and a hallway. Under the eyes of the girls who were staring at him in awe once again, he raised his hand and clenched his hand forcefully. The walls began to crumble, leaving behind walls that were incomparability smooth, just like the ones from previous areas of the house.
He then sliced the air and pulled out metals from his void storage before throwing them at the walls where they were absorbed immediately as if landing in quicksand. Then, the sounds of stone cracking rang out again and pieces of the smooth rock began to fall, revealing four doors, three on the left and one on the right.
Styxx then wiped his hands, happy with the job he just did, and motioned to the girls to go ahead and go to their rooms.
The girls slowly approached the first door on the left and found the door had something carved on it. It was a wolf head howling to the sky with a big full moon in the background.
Fenrir's tail began to aim for supersonic speeds as she turned to look at Styxx with a wide and toothy smile.
"Is this one mine? Is this my room?" asked Fenrir full of excitement.
Styxx nodded and slid the door open to the side, he felt maybe it was a little heavy for them right now, but they will eventually get used to it. He then stepped into the pitch-black darkness leaving the only source of light from the hallway. He found the middle of the room and a big block of stone fell from the ceiling, he caught it gave it a quick tap on one side, and threw it up where it merged perfectly back into the ceiling.
He then walked back towards the girls and carved out a small rectangular piece from the side of the wall.
"See this? This is your light switch, face the light towards you, and the light for the room will turn on, swipe down to dim, swipe up to brighten. To turn off, face the light side to the wall back in the slot. Got it?" Styxx said,
The girls nodded and Styxx tapped the small stone piece where it began to slightly glow, at the same time a giant square on the ceiling began to glow behind him lighting up the entire room. He then swiped the air again and pulled out a king-sized bed and placed it on the other side of the room. Then he pulled out a wardrove and placed it on the left side of the room, then pulled some clothes out in Fenrir's size and placed it in the wardrove.
"That all I have, for now, we will buy more when we go back into the city for some shopping," Styxx said before walking out and headed towards the next room over, he never noticed that Fenrir was left frozen in place.
The two girls absentmindedly followed him and arrived at a door that could only mean it was for Bastet. The head of a black cat was adorned in Egyptian jewelry while a golden pyramid graced the background.
Just as he did with Fenrir's room, Styxx set up Bastet's room, only this time there was a gold and black theme to her furniture, as if to match both the door and Bastet.
Just like Fenrir, Bastet stayed in her room while Styxx left, Tara following closely behind, hiding the tears that were slowly forming in her eyes. Last but not least, they reached Tara's room. On the door, a cute rabbit was munching on a carrot, it would be normal except the rabbit had lightning dancing around her and lightning struck treetops in the background.
"How did you know?" asked Tara, she knew what the lightning meant but she didn't know how Styxx knew.
"I just know," said a smirking Styxx,
Styxx walked into the room and like with the ones before, he added the bed and wardrobe matching her, white with a little bit of pink.
"Alright, that should be enough for now," Styxx said as he marveled at his own work,
Tara turned around with tears in her eyes looking at him with doe eyes. Styxx started to retreat slowly seeing her like that.
"Oh no, no, no! I know that look! I'm against that look!" Styxx exclaimed.
He turned to run away, only to have Bastet and Fenrir with the same look standing at the doorway blocking his escape. Once stopped, the girls all lunged at him at the same time, wrapping themselves around him like a trio of koalas.
"I'm against hugging! I'm not a hugging person!" exclaimed Styxx.
The girls didn't seem to listen as they rub their heads against him, tears running down and happy smiles on their faces. With a wry smile, Styxx just stood there, not knowing what to do with his hands, and let them do as they pleased.
After 5 minutes of them hugging him, he finally spoke up.
"It's time for bed, training begins tomorrow," Styxx said,
Tara, who was hugging his back, asked a question,
"Training? What training?"
"If you girls want to go to school or go shopping, you first need to be healthy enough to survive teleportation. Although I healed your body of injuries, you are still suffering from malnutrition and dehydration, not to mention mentally fatigued. I'll make sure by the end of the month; you will be healthier and stronger than any other kid your age in the city." Styxx answered,
The girls nodded and slowly peeled themselves and headed towards their own beds. Styxx dimmed the light for each of them before sitting in the middle of the hallway. Styxx wasn't naïve enough to think that just because they seemed okay, meant that they were okay. Just in case, he will sit here and work, while keeping an eye on them.
'Maybe there's a villain out there with some sort of "Gate" quirk that I can devour, that would be quite convenient…' Styxx thought as he fiddled with a mechanical disc in his hand.
It came as a huge surprise to Styxx that the girls had gotten the best sleep they have gotten in years, sleeping well into the afternoon.

1) I'm going to take my time with this fanfic, I don't want to do huge time skips or just skip over events with: "it went just like it did in canon". I want the MC to participate in an active role or at least have some sort of hand in how events transpired either according to canon or in a new way.
2) Also, I'm thinking of doing flashbacks of his time on the island and things he experience in his 50 years before Japan.
3) Just a reminder that this isn't a isekai fanfic. MC does not have future knowledge of events or knowledge of the characters. OCs probably won't get introduced until after the villain attack but I do have a couple of ideas in mind for people from The Church and of other countries. there are some unorthodox ideas here and there that I have yet to see in an MHA fanfic, but I'm going to keep those to myself for now (it's nothing crazy, just different).

I'll try to release sometime before Thursday but this next one is already giving me challenges lol.
