Capítulo 220: Detour

"Umm, Ivar…" she called his name and it took less than a second for him to turn his face to her. Maybe it was because she doesn't call him by his first name so often or perhaps because he was just too absorbed in his mind that he was shocked to realize her presence in the car but there was a slight look of wonder etched on his face for a moment when he looked at her before it sooner vanished. 

Remaining his ill-timed oath of silence Ivar was reversing the car to now go back the way they came from rather than forward towards his house,

As they went past the place where they hit the person slash animal, Alaina looked out the window with caution to find something gruesome, though she quickly realized there was no need to exercise any caution because there was no sign of a road kill whatsoever. 

"Ok, what is going on? Why aren't you telling me what happened back there?" Alaina now asked in a demanding tone.
