Capítulo 30: "Literally."
Chapter 30.
I froze, and my breathing became heavy.
Fuck.
"Erm hello? Who's this? And what do you need to tell my boyfriend?"
"Uh, s-sorry. Wrong person." I stuttered. I hung up right away and let a heavy sigh.
I nearly exposed myself. I should've let it be. I knew that Liam wasn't stupid enough to tell his girlfriend he had fucked his ex, so why did I feel the need to make sure he wouldn't tell anyone?
This could've possibly just blown my cover. What if she asked Liam what it was about?
I screwed Liam. Literally. And possibly his relationship.
To get my mind off things, I called Bailey and asked her to come over to my house. I would've driven to hers, but my car was having some mechanical problems so I relied on Harry to drive me around. The only reason that I relied on Harry when I could've just asked Kaiden was because I used it as an excuse to see him.
When Bailey arrived 20 minutes later, I instantly gave her bump a million kisses and invited Bailey inside so we could watch the new movie on Netflix, The Perfect Date.
Halfway through the movie, Bailey groaned and started rubbing her enormous bump furiously and whispered things to her baby. I could tell that she didn't want me to notice, but I wasn't someone who only focused on one thing. I always looked around at what everyone else was doing even when I had something to do myself so I instantly noticed what Bailey was doing.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong with the baby? Actually, don't answer that, you're not a doctor so you probably don't know so we should probably get it checked out." I hurriedly got off the couch intending to put my shoes and coat on but a hand on my wrist stopped me.
"W-Wait. I don't think it's that serious but I think the baby is coming Kehlani. I'm not ready yet!"
"Okay, calm down Bailey! I don't have my car right now so I could either call an ambulance for you or do you want me to get Harry to come and drive us to the hospital?"
"I'm fine with Harry as long as he gets here quickly." She panted. Bailey continued rubbing her stomach, and I quickly put my shoes and coat on while balancing my phone in the space between my shoulder and my neck as I rang Harry.
"Hello?"
"Hi, can you please come to my house? Bailey is in labor and we have no car. Thanks!" I didn't wait for a reply as I didn't want the chance to hear him say no. I left my living room to get a bottle of water for Bailey and we stayed there for about 5 minutes while she impatiently sipped on her water and rubbed her belly.
When we heard a loud honk outside followed by my phone ringing, Bailey and I went outside while I locked the door and I followed her into Harry's car and Harry speedily drove to the hospital.
