"Reggie, eat this for today," Esther said as she removed the plate which was in front of Reggie, making him elated. 

She placed Reggie's plate in front of Cyrus, asking him to eat with a smirk on her face. Esther felt Cyrus couldn't eat greens because from what she heard from Reggie that he never said ate greens. That only means he doesn't like them. He doesn't eat but makes her and her son eat they can't. So… she will get revenge for themselves. 

  "I can eat anything, Miss. Benjamin. I lived in a place that was not even suitable for living for a year. I gathered food alone and there were situations where I had to live by eating grass. I can eat this." Cyrus said to her with a smug look as she searched for the element of shock in her face.
