Capítulo 166: Letter to Caroline

As he walked into his suite, instead of feeling ecstatic, Nubeous felt a strange pang of separation. Probably the amount of care that he had in his heart for Morpheous triumphed the hatred that he possessed for snatching the deed from his father.

But more than that what haunted him was Caroline.

He had no idea why the broken and teary face of hers was bothering him so much. She was just a look alike of Alaya, and he was well aware of it.

He had the deed with him, Morpheous was dead, now all that he had to do was to conjure the dark Lord and bring Alaya back. But he hesitated.

Instead of turning the ring on his finger, he picked up a notepad which had been lying idle on the surface of the table and started writing.
