Capítulo 113: When his wings were burned

"What happened then?" Caroline questioned.

"Everybody turned against me, Caroline!" Morpheous said and sighed. His eyes looked distant as if he had been lost in the maze of memories. Memories that haunted him. 

"Before any of this had happened, my brothers adored me. Especially brother Nubeous. He took care of me more than my father did… but he changed. He changed all of a sudden, Caroline."

"Did he want the reigns of the universe? Did he bear a grudge?" 

"I honestly don't know what he wanted for real. Because if he had just asked, I would have requested father to change his decision. But overnight, everything changed. He told father that I didn't deserve to be his heir because I had darkness inside me."

"Did you… Did you have…" And Caroline couldn't even dare to finish that sentence, for she could see his eyes turning all misty.
