Around half an hour later, Morpheous walked into her chamber holding an X-ray image in his hand.

"You got my report?"

"Yeah!" He said and placed it on her desk before returning to his seat.

In one glance, Caroline realized it was not her X-ray scan as she had already seen the image earlier. She deliberated for a moment, observing his body language, and then asked, "You sure this one is mine? It looks like there is still a hairline crack which is yet to heal."

"Yes, and that's why you still need to keep the cast on," he replied, looking at her.

'Why is he trying to convince me that I am not healed?'

She felt like confronting him for a moment, wanting to tell him that this was not the image. The patient ID printed in the bottom right corner of the film itself was screaming as someone else's scan report. But on second thought, she let him lie.
