Mia POV:
Mel, who are you talking about? I asked impatiently waiting for her to answer.
It's better if you leave that topic for now. She said and with that, she started walking towards the department.
Mel, stop. I shouted and rush to her side.
Mia, if you are going to talk about Him then I am sorry we can't talk anymore and I am also not interested. And as you are new, I would like to advise you not to discuss it with other students what just happened to you. Otherwise, they will declare you as a crazy being. She said in one breath making me silent at once.
Alright. I said.
What? She asked shockingly.
I am sorry, I didn't know He was this big deal here, I won't talk about Him from now on. I said with a smile and a determined tone.
Well, I can't believe it, you are convinced earlier than I expected. She said.
Of course, I can't leave a friend I just met for a boy I merely know and I am also not into boys and relationships. You know... I said.
Oh, so are you a studious person? She asked.
Yeah sometimes and sometimes not. I replied and with that, we started walking towards our department.
That's great that you are not too boring. She said with contentment in her tone.
Oh.. Don't worry!! I am not. I said and we started ambling towards the locker area where I found my bag lying by my locker.
My locker was opened and all the papers and books were lying brutally on the floors, some papers of the books were torn too.
I hurriedly rush to my locker.
What the hell happened here? I heard Mel voice from behind me.
They did it. I mumbled and bent down to pick up my things. Tears welled up in my eyes, at this point I just wanted myself to be alone in my room and to cry my heart out. Everything was happening beyond of what I expected. It true that I had bad vibes about this place but I didn't think it would be this bad.
Mia, I control my tears, trying my hardest not to spill them, when I heard Mel calling for me.
Yeah. I said as I collected my things and stood up. She had some paper in her hand which she was seeing with wide eyes, horror was evident in her grey orbs. Her hand was slightly shivering. Sweat was formed on her forehead, she seems quite terrified.
What happened to you? I asked noticing her behaviour. I took the paper from her hand and read it.
It was written in red,
"Welcome to Hell Bitch!!" "Watch out!!" I crushed it and throw it in the near bin angrily.All the while Mel was looking at me in astonishment.
I cleaned my locker and she was silent, observing me. After a few moments of silence, she finally speaks up.
Aren't you afraid Mia? She asked.
Nope, I speak while stuffing my books in the locker again.
Mia, it's a threat. You should take it seriously. She said while holding my arm.
Mel, I don't take these stupid things seriously and if you are worrying that they will pull up some dumb prank of them on me, then you should just watch. They have played their card on me once, I won't let it happen again. I said in a calm tone. However, deep down I was angry.
Mia, they are strong. You won't be able to handle them. Why don't you go and asked them for forgiveness? They won't disturb you afterwards.
How can you say that Mel? I am not the one wrong here. I angrily said.
Mia love, I know but they are dangerous, they belong to one of the richest family of Florida. You can't go against them. She said.
I don't care if one day their families took over this whole world Mel, I am not going to back down for something I didn't do. I have already tolerated much on my first day. I won't take shit from anyone from now on. I angrily snapped back, took my books and went in the direction of my literature class which is going to be started in nearly 10 min.
In less than ten minutes, I was standing in front of my literature class, waiting for the already ongoing class to end up.
This would be my first class of the day, which I am going to take. I have already missed my two classes. Great!! Just great!! I thought sarcastically.
My mind was also not helping me in making my situation any better. It was still stuck on that guy. It was very odd of Him to disappear just like that. I can't even say that He saves me, because, in reality, it was Mel, He just left me on the floor, when my breathing was getting slower. What was he up to? Did he want me dead? Where was He taking me and Why did he save me from the slap if he wanted me dead? Did he usually do that to other girls and then pretend He is a bad and a dangerous guy?
But one thing is clear, He is surely dangerous when I was near Him, His dominating aura was enough to make my heart beat faster. No wonder, why these people feared Him!! But why did I find myself pulling towards Him? How His orbs was held me captive? How Alex get terrified just by the sight of Him, it seems like He has seen a ghost. I remember how his face turned pale.
In front of Mel, I have said that I won't talk about Him but deep down I want to know. Why no one here discusses Him? Why everyone feared Him? Did he do something here which I am not aware of? Are they hiding something? Is He here? I thought, just when the bell ring and the students came out and in them, my worst enemy Charlotte was standing shooting daggers on my way.
She shoves past the other students who glared at her but she ignored them and came in front of me.
How was your first day going on? Do you like it so far?Btw, Did you got my message? She said with an evil smirk.
You know what, it really suits you. I said.
What? She asked with wide eyes.
Being a Bitch!! I said and with that I ambled inside the classroom, Ignoring her presence.
