Capítulo 28: Let's supper

The two sat calmly on the rough sofa by the chimney of the parlour. She read with Stewt, simply focusing on her reading.

Beside the ends of the soft, elongated sofa where Lilith sat, was a table with the vase. She gazed without care at first, but when her eyes caught a glimpse of the flowers moved as it bloomed, she glanced back to the vase which Lilith and Ada had arranged a bouquet not too long ago.

The once empty vase had finally flowers in it, at last. And bloomed too.

As the fire crackles in the chimney, her worries were gone for a moment. She flapped close the book and fingered the soft purple petal of the perennial. She faintly smiled, unconsciously.

Finally meeting a relative of her husband. Only come to know that she had been long dead. Gerald had no relatives by his side when they got married.

Never did he mention to Lilith he had a sibling, so naturally, Lilith thought he was an only child. Either that or an accident.
