Capítulo 86: Ch.86 Queen doesn't take Bishop...
As they were approaching the Sulaco...
Kris felt a sense of danger coming from below their feet.
Suddenly a sharp tail pierced thru the floor, and swiped horizontally in a wide arc. Caught off guard the sitting Vasquez was decapitated on the spot.
The tail then slammed downwards collapsing part of the flooring, and exposing the Head of the Alien Queen along with is huge body.
The players snapped into action, Zheng new that his rifle was not effective on the creature. So he ignited a flame in his right hand and pounced towards the beast with a fist covered in flames.
Kris saw the others protecting Ripley, and Newt so he focused in keeping the Queen in place with his TK. But its tail was trashing about and causing more damage to the transport.
Deciding the best course of action was to cut the tail off. He activated his lightsaber, and charge at the flailing tail.
He was able to avoid some of the strikes but, it was to nimble to pin down. Even though Zheng was distracting the Queen by punching it with his burning hand, its tail seemed to have a mind of its own attacking anything that comes near it.
Kris didn't have a choice left so he reluctantly loosen his hold on the rest of the queen and targeted the tail. When it froze mid strike he took the chance to slice it off from the root.
Upon successfully cutting the menacing tail, he realized his mistake 'cause the Queen took this as an opportunity to come out of the hole she made. While using her acidic blood to damage the transport further.
Kris yelled for Bishop to hurry and land the transport in the ship.
Which Bishop complied to by opening the Sulaco's cargo bay doors remotely, and crashed the transport into its wide compartment.
When they were successfully inside. The automatic airlocks kick in, and just in time 'cause the transports walls had just been melted thru.
The Queen used the breach to get out of the cramped space, as if she new that staying in there would lead her to more disadvantages.
Everyone got off the transport, as well the none combatants. As they rush towards the exit of the cargo compartment.
While the rest confronted the Queen, now with a cut off tail and a missing arm. The Queen was very mad, and was leaking acid blood all over the place.
Further making the humans feel the pressure of fighting her.
The others have now successfully opened the exit but as the doors opened a green blur ran pass them and stopped at Kris's side.
It was the Shearpike, Felicity was now wearing the Interceptor, Yinkong was beside her while Lan and the rest were up on the observation deck over looking the room thru the big glass windows.
Kris was the first to move, and nodded at Felicity as they circled around the Queen looking for a weak point. Kris took the left side while Felicity took the right.
Zheng realized what they were doing and distracted the Queen by charging with his flaming fist. The Queen still remembering the pain caused by those flames, locked on to him.
When the couple saw this they started spinning their lightsabers like a pair of buzzsaws they crossed the queens body Felicity used triple dash and triple jumped over the Queens back spinning like a top slicing the creature as she passed.
While Kris slid down to its belly doing a ferocious summersult eviscerating the Queen.
The Queens entire body was split 3 ways as the couple did their job. With Zheng hitting the final nail in the coffin by burning a hole in between the alien Queen's eyes.
Kris looked around him trying to see what sort of damage this fight had caused. Seeing the extent of it, he signaled everyone to proceed to the observation deck.
As the place will need to be blocked of from the rest of the ship. With it in this state of damage, it may depressurize once the acid eats thru the hull in this section.
When he stopped to checked if everyone got out of the place, What he saw was Bishop exiting the dropship while carrying two containers which held the face huggers.
He exited along side the android.
Tengyi, and ChengXiao who was guarding Burke, escorted him to a chair on the observation deck and shoving him into it.
While the Lt. was sent to the med bay along with Hicks. ChengXiao being the designated field medic followed suit.
Leaving only Tengyi to guard Burke. This is when he started his sales pitch.
Seeing Kris came in with Bishop who was carrying the containers.
"What are you doing with those? It should be killed right away." Ripley was the first to react.
Getting the attention of everyone, except those who went with the injured people.
Only the 4 newbies, the Veterans and The 3 movie characters remained in the observation deck.
Burke started by stating the obvious,"Okay, I know this is an emotional moment for all of us, okay? I know that."
"But let's not make snap judgments, please. This is clearly... clearly an important species we're dealing with and I don't think that you or I, or *anybody*, has the right to arbitrarily exterminate them."
Ripley laughs feebly saying,"If that were right, we're all the better for it."
One of the newbies added,"Yeah. Exterminate them for good. Which begs the question why are we even talking about this right now?"
Burke said looking at dude with an incredulous look,
"Yeah...let's put a pin on that. Look, Ripley, this is a multi-million dollar installation, okay? And we just destroyed it, without even any proof that this thing exist."
"We have gone down this road once, and you ended up losing your license. What do you think will happen this time?"
"Look, those two specimens are worth millions to the bio-weapons division. Now, if you're smart, we can all come out of it as heroes and we'll be set up for life."
Ripley just stared at him with a disbelieving look, and said,"You're crazy Burke, you know that? You really think that you can get a dangerous organism like that past ICC quarantine?"
Burke just shrugged saying,"How can they impound it if they don't know about it?"
Ripley laughed, and said,"Oh, they *will* know about it, Burke, from me. Just like they'll know that you were responsible for the deaths of 158 colonists here."
Burke face became pale stuttering,"Wait a second... What..."
Ripley said,"You sent them to that ship."
Burke was about to deny it saying,"You're wrong."
Ripley smiled, and said,"I just checked the colony log. Dated 0-6-1-2-7-9, signed Burke, Carter J. You sent them out there and you didn't even warn them. Why didn't you warn them, Burke?"
Burke trying to look for a way out said,"Okay, look. What if that ship didn't even exist, huh? Did you ever think about that?"
"I didn't know! So now, if I went in and made a major security issue out of it, everybody steps in. Administration steps in, and there are no exclusive rights for anybody; nobody wins."
"So I made a decision and it was... wrong. It was a bad call, Ripley. It was a bad call."
Ripley was angry now saying,"Bad call?"
Ripley then grabs Burke by his vest and shoves him against a wall saying," These people are *dead*, Burke!"
"Don't you have any idea what you have done here? Well, I'm gonna make sure they nail you right to the wall for this! You're not gonna sleaze your way out of this one! Right to the wall!" Ripley lets go of Burke.
Burke was held by Tengyi, and Zheng on each arm by this time, but he went and said,"Ripley...! You know, I... I expected more from you. I thought you'd be smarter than this."
Ripley who was walking away turned her head and said,"I'm happy to disappoint you." and leaves with Newt towards their accomodations.
"Bring this maggot to the brig." said Kris as he ordered the two.
He looked towards Bishop, and said lock those up as well. We will be needing some evidence to clean our names encase things went belly up.
Bishop nodded at this, and got to it.
Felicity then dragged Kris to there room as he looks worst for wear.
He just looked at her, and shook his head saying,"I'm getting too old for this shyte..."
Felicity smacked his shoulder at that, and giggled.
