it was a text from an anonymous person. The car came to an abrupt halt and my head almost banged onto the headboard, but rather it landed on a smoother surface, a softer and gentler one.

"Careful." I saw Taehyung's hand on the headboard, protecting me from the harm it could've caused to my forehead. He shook his head as he chuckled at my carelessness.

I quickly glanced at the time, it was early evening, almost seven. While everyone settled into their respective hotel rooms and Taehyung went on to take a shower, I egressed the hotel.

I left the hotel, without informing anyone where I was off to, I couldn't risk leading them straight to what could be, a set up trap. I was in such a rush that I didn't even carry any weapon handy with myself.
