The tree of death quickly asked Ling Han to return her to the spirit farm. she was afraid Ling Han might do something else
As for Ling Han, he had Berry send out drop size of the lightning sword out to map this world. It didn't take long for a city to appear not too far away. Ling Han used to the map to appear there.
Where ever the lightning sword is at, he could appear. Although it's wasn't like how the MC from Bringing The Fram To Live In Another World was able to teleport anywhere he mapped.
He could appear where his lightning word was at. Even a drop size was enough.
As Ling Han appeared outside the city, he noticed there weren't any walls around the city. Unlike the lower realm, most cities had large walls around them.
But here, anyone could leave and enter as they wish.
"Master, this doesn't seem to be a city," Berry said, confusing Ling Han.
This was as large as ghe capital of the human world and slightly larger at that. She was saying this wasn't a city?
"This is village known as falling star village. I got this information from a few people in the village talking about someone from those large sects passing by here. he seems to be going to try and take in a few people to enter the sect... master, you should join the sect to collect information." Berry said seriously
"yeah, one shouldn't fear the strong, but fear being stupid." Ling Han said calmly. one couldn't blame Ling Han for this.
The human capital in the lower realm was the size of some state on earth. To him, he considered that extremely large for just a capital.
He of course didn't believe this village here would have been some large capital in the immortal realm. Usually, when one ascends, they arrive at a weaker areas.
To him, he thought this would have been a small city in the immortal realm. But he was sadly mistaken. This was just a village.
Ling Han entered the village, the first thing he did was look at the cultivation of those around him.
'the average cultivation seems to be at the Nascent Soul realm. but no one at the Saint king or great Saint.' Ling Han thought, with a slight node.
'system, find the person with the highest cultivation.' Ling Han said
*walk 500 thousand miles west.* the system said as a screen appeared in front of him, showing a middle-aged man in a room drinking some tea.
He had blue and white clothing, with his sect badge on his left shoulder. He had two young men sitting at his side, both wearing the same kind of outfit, but had the world's outer disciples written there left chest.
Before him, an old man aged man was happily talking about his son.
"Master, that person is most likely an immortal. Those at his side were both at level 7 Saint king realm. The old man kissing their asses is at level 1 Saint king. he is most likely the village chief." Berry said as Ling Han nodded slightly
'system, find when I will adapt.' Ling Han said calmly
*4 days* the system said
"Master is in luck, although you might not need it. but the trail to enter the sect is in 6 days." Berry said as Ling Han nodded slightly. He will only enter the sect to get what he wants and would be out the next second.
He went to look for a place to stay and went on to forces on adapting. A day later, he entered the system to see ghe beauty who had awakened
"you awake." Ling Han asked, appearing in front of her. she was currently sitting in his bed, blankly looking around.
"y... y-y-yo-you a-a-wake?" She said in Ling Han's voice, with confusion, unable to understand what Ling Han was saying. she was currently like a newborn. Blank out out any form of information.
The only reason she was able to make a sound was that she copied Ling Han.
'she can pretty much copy anything. She would be a good training partner. It would be like fighting a slightly better version of yourself... but first, I should teach her how to be herself.' Ling Han thought as he walked over to her.
"since you don't have a name. we should probably think of one." Ling Han said as he helped her out of bed.
She seemed to be confused about how to walk, so she just copied Ling Han. one should know a human needs a few years to learn how to walk, and some might never do it in their whole life. Yet, she did it by watching someone else.
"Name?" She said, but this time her voice had a hint of a female voice to it.
"yes, something to call you by. a name is bonded to one soul and is almost impossible to change after given... you don't even understand, Berry gives her a book of words or something." Ling Han said calmly. one couldn't just learn a name in a few seconds
She might understand hints of what the word but never the true meaning.
"Me understand Some word," She said, stunning Ling Han slightly
"Could it be you instantly learn what the world I saw mean?" Ling Han asked curiously
"me understand instantly what you say. Me book of word." She said softly. she was like a child. Her eyes were only filled with curiosity towards the world.
A book appeared in front of her, a book holding pretty much everyone Ling Han has ever come across. There were even words in the demon beast language and other types of races.
After getting the book, she looked at the title.
"Directory." She said softly. Ling Han couldn't even have a bad thought about this innocent girl, maybe when she gains an understanding of the world...
Seeing her start reading, Ling Han returned to the outside world. A few hours later, he sent a clone into the spirit farm to speak to her since she was done with reading the book.
"Thank you. for creating me and teaching me everything." She said with a smile upon seeing Ling Han.
"no need to thank me. now that you mastered the language, you want to appear in the real world?" Ling Han asked with a smile
"Yes... but can I have a name first?" She asked hesitantly
"... what do you think about Elise?" Ling Han asked with a smile
"Elise... it's beautiful." She said with a smile,
Ling Han's eyes widened. The world seemed to lose its luster before her smile. She was truly a beauty, but her innocents made it hard for anyone to think inappropriately about her.
Ling Han easily snapped out of it with his willpower. Even if she was hundreds of times more beautiful... I mean, slightly more beautiful, he might not lose himself to her charms.
He sent her out of the spirit farm, where she met his real body. Elise looked at Ling Han for a moment before falling into deep thought.
"can I cultivate?" She asked softly.
"nope. you must first gain knowledge and know the world before that." Ling Han said calmly
"But I know all the words. even the bad and good." She said, but Ling Han still shook his head. Ling Han thought for a moment before making another clone. This clone took Elsie to the lower realm, on top of a roof in one of the big cities in the lower realm.
"if you can walk from here to the other side of the village, then I will let you cultivate." Ling Han said calmly
Elise's eyes brightened as she jumped off the roof. She landed with a boom, causing cracks to form on the hard ground.
She shot off, running towards the other side of the city. But she didn't notice the people who soul seemed to have left their bodies upon seeing her. There just stood there, as if frozen.
As Elise ran, more people saw her. and more people just froze, but they all ran after her with lustful eyes. If they could just spend a night with her, even if they were killed right away. They wouldn't care one bit.
Elise soon noticed a group of people was running after her. She soon noticed that her path was blocked. She came to a stop as she fearfully looked at everyone who had lustful gazes towards her.
"can you please let me through?" She said in a shaky voice. Even some old people were in this crowd. From women, males and even animals, they were slowly walked towards her.
Even one froze open hearing her voice. It was like thousands of beautiful angels were singing.
"haha." One of the males couldn't take it anymore and jump towards her. Elise closed her eyes and quickly turned her head, but he exploded into a blood mist.
"so. why do you think they are acting like this?" Limg Han asked as he appeared, standing at her side.
Elsie seeing Ling Han, ran over, hugging him.
"I don't know. I did nothing to them." She said with tears in her eyes. she was terrified, those looks they threw at her. she knew something terrible would have happened.
Ling Han sighed as he rubbed her head. Of course, it was his true body. Why would he pass an opportunity for a beauty to huge him?
"you see, this is why I want you to learn about the world first. you know everything about yourself, right?" Ling Han asked, to which she nodded slightly
"the next best thing is to learn about others and the world. one would fear someone with the most knowledge, not strength. As with knowledge, many things are passable. even taking down the strongest person alive wouldn't be too far off." Ling Han said with a smile
"... I understand. I want more books." She said seriously as she looked at the people around her. But she froze when she noticed they were all dead.
"you killed them?" She said with a shaky voice.
"There are three rules I live by. 1, do whatever you want. Never live with regrets.
2, if someone gets in your way of doing what you want. Then beat them up or kill them. Life is too short for regrets.
And 3, before care about what you do, or who you kill. Think before your actions, and if you are not sure, then just do act. you never want to form internal demons." Ling Han said as he held her chin gently and looked at her in the eyes.
"you are the main character of your own life. Why waste it on thinking about others who could care less about you and limiting your own freedom? You should enjoy life to the fullest. You never know when death you suddenly take you. and by then, there will be no regrets." Ling Han said, as Elise froze, before nodding in agreement
"Do you care about me?" She asked softly
"of course I do." Ling Han said with a smile, which brought a smile to Elise
"I care about you too. From now on, I will live my life to the fullest." She said with a smile
And with that, two demons were born. Demons who take what they want, maybe it's because Ling Han had the blood of Odin. A former Viking, who did the same when he was young.
Maybe it was because this was his second life, and he had quiet caring about others who meant nothing to him.
But whatever it was, those families of an arrogant young master will soon start shaking in their boosts.
