Capítulo 251: Kind Man

"Miss. Katherine, would you like to have a ride?" Katherine saw a familiar face inside the carriage. Lucian stuck out his hand for her to take when she stood near the carriage.

"It's fine. I will walk…" Katie tried to say but Lucian didn't give her any chance for rejection.

"If you deny it, I will think you don't think of me as your friend. And it's not a hassle at all, it's on my way." Lucian said. And Katie stood there in shock.

"Friend..?" Katie mumbled slowly. He thinks of her as a friend.

"Come now." Lucian stretched her hand more and Katie took it hesitantly. 

"Don't you feel afraid walking alone at night time?" Lucian asked when the carriage started.

Katie was sitting on the side almost curling up in the corner.

The ghost house where Lucian was living was on the way where Katie lived. But there was some distance and both were on the opposite side
