Capítulo 16: Vampire Diaries 14: Jaw-dropping Grim Reaper
The sun's light begins to fade away. It's moving to the West region, sooner and later the sunset will be evident.
While waiting for the darkness, Emilia brings me to her small hideaway.
We are not alone as I can see woman and man, talking disturbingly.
Their body seems like rubbing each other as they are too close.
"Hey! You look surprised and astonish!"
I touch my arm and embraces it. I know it's Emilia as she gives me a cup of tea.
"Vampires don't drink anything except for blood," I said, while still looking at them.
Emilia sighs and sips her tea. She's nodding her head when I look at her.
"I am trying to be a mortal, Thalia. One of us went to the World of Mortals and made a diary. She was young at the moment,"
"A vampire's diary?"
She nods her head and stoops. "Anyway, let us disturb that duo! I don't even know why we became friends despite the differences we have."
I want to stay in the corner but she grabs me.
From afar, we watch them embracing each other as if they are alone.
"For pete's sake! Can you guys please stop making a scene in my place!" Emilia put down the cup of tea.
The woman gave her a wild smile and put her arms around the man's neck.
Emilia cursed out and hit the man's shoulder. I know it is not that hard but it is enough for them to be interrupted and disturbed.
"Come on, Emilia! Don't disturb us all over again, not now. Okay?"
"You two are horrible! Can't you see that woman standing? She's Thalia, the vampire who was in the brisk of death nights ago!"
Upon hearing my name, the girl pushes him and looks into my way.
She seems shocked and mystifies.
"H– Hi!"
I don't know what to say but I wave my hand at her.
Until I feel a warm embrace coming from her. She said, "Thalia! You almost kill all of us!"
"Kill all of you... Wh–why would I do such a thing?"
Emilia winks at me. She pulls the man away from us which makes me afraid. "Father and Mother will be grateful as soon as they see you tonight."
"Father? Mother? You me–mean you are my s–sister?!"
The woman before me abruptly burst into a peal of loud laughter and tapped my head.
"Don't tell me you forget about me! But, don't be afraid now Thalia. I will protect you and I am willing to take the risk and danger."
She looks at me with fear. By simply listening to hear, I could tell that she is Thalia's sister.
They look the same even though her sister is shorter than her.
"I... I am happy that you are here! But, why is it I can't see them at the moment?"
I ask her about our parents. But she narrows her eyes as if I've made a crime.
"Hmm. If I am allowed to hold your hand, I can tell that you are not my sister. You seem like a different person who manipulates my sister's body!"
"Pa– pardon?" I don't know what to say but she must not find out the truth.
I need to be careful now as I met Thalia's sister.
To stop her from doubting, I grab her hand and secretly read her mind.
I said, "I am Thalia! And I will make sure that no one can hurt me, again. I'll do everything to get even with the werewolves who killed our brother!"
Thalia's sister pulls her hands and step backwards. I don't why but I fail to read her mind!
"You are too serious, Thalia! But, I will help you find them! The perfect time will come."
"Thea! Please be careful talking with your sister! She might swallow you without doubt and hesitation!"
Emilia appears but she's alone.
Thea. Thalia's sister is Thea.
"Don't say that! Of course, I will bite her neck first and suck her blood!"
I tell her and sips the tea.
Meeting Thalia's family is the best hard and difficult obstacle that I need to withstand.
I need to know more about her family before the twilight. I must ask Thea!
"Where is Bryce?"
Thea looks around and tries to find her boyfriend. She really looks like me.
She said, "Excuse me, Thalia but I have to follow Bryce! We need to finish what we started!"
Thea winks at me and I can say that she's kind of a wild woman. She will get everything she wants no matter what.
Emilia snaps her fingers and tells me, "Hey! You look like a statue!"
"Why do you say so?"
I ask her while savouring the bland taste of the tea she gives me earlier.
"It seems like you are unhappy upon seeing your twin sister. Why? Is there something bothering you?"
I stop from drinking when I hear that Thea is not only my older sister. But she's my twin sister!
That's why we look alike. "It's not that I'm unhappy, I feel like she's not true to her words Emilia! It seems like Thea hates me so bad."
I watch my twin sister hugging her boyfriend. Both of them looks good as Bryce seems like a wild and mischievous vampire.
Emilia remains quiet, sipping and listening to me.
I turn my gaze on her and said, "Perhaps you know the reason why," I smile genuinely as I added, "I am willing to listen to your opinions."
While waiting for her, I swallow everything in the cup. There is a long table in front of us as to where I put the empty goblet.
Emilia takes a deed and a long breath before uttering a word.
She's still looking at Thea, who's squeezing Bryce's buttocks.
"She's jealous on you, Thalia. Even we're still young, Thea would do everything for her to be the best in your parents' eyes. Without knowing the cruelty she did, back then.
She wanted to be the best in everything, especially when the Vampire Lord declared openly regarding the new King of his Kingdom."
"Wait, Emilia! As you mention the Vampire Lord, would you mind if I ask you where is he right now?"
"What? I already tell you that!"
I narrow my eyes and replied, "Did you?"
"Yes! But, since I am a considerate friend of yours. I will tell you," Emilia said. "The Vampire Lord went to the World of Mortals. As what they all say, Lord Voltaire is planning to conquer the Earth. He wishes to build a palace and mortals shall praise him."
I almost set aside about Thea as I become interested in Lord Voltaire.
As what I heard from Emilia, I can tell that he is a powerful and potent Vampire. He is fearless and no one shall underestimate him.
"Hey! You are too quiet!"
"Don't mind me, I am just thinking about Thea."
"The twilight is near to come, so you better stop worrying about your cruel sister! Instead, follow me!"
For the second time, Emilia grabs my shirt. As she's not allowed to lay her fingers on me.
As I try to walk back, she will definitely pull me closer to her.
"Emilia! Where are we going?"
I asked her but, instead of telling me.
She stoops and whispers, "You need to meet the jaw-dropping Grim Reaper!"
"Gr–grim reaper?!"
I can't believe all of this as I let Emilia drags me to the so-called jaw-dropping Grim reaper.
