While Vladimir was with his Imperial guards the soldiers in the camp were moving about. Some were packing and readying to get into formation while others were getting ready to move out. The 17th jager regiment was excited because they were told they might fight soon and the cannoneers were excited. As the jagers and cannons are moving out they have conversations. "Peter do you think we are going to fight.?" a jager asks his friends and in return, he heard "Alexander I hope so. From what I've seen the 6 pounders are moving out and heading in the same direction and I'm sure the Tsar isn't doing it to show off. There will be a fight," he says "if we do great we can get promotions or rewards and we can say we're the first to fight under the Tsar when we get back home"
Similar conversations were going on Jagers took an hour and a half to get there and like they were ordered, they are in the tree lines, some are behind the trees while some are crouching meanwhile the canners are preparing the ammunition and checking to make sure everything is ok. As the sun was setting, the Tsar came riding on the same horse as the guard captain. He turns his head to look up at the captain then looks at another guard on the horse "go inform the hussars to be ready", the guard nods and rides of "captain from the looks of things we will most likely fight tomorrow."
"your majesty with all due respect if there is a charge I think you should not take part" Vladimir replies "thank you for your concern but I didn't plan to fight personally, I'm too young and I value my life. At most I will take part in the negotiations after killing a few of them "After hearing no reply Vladimir burrowed the captain's spyglass and is watching both sides. He recognizes one side as humans based on their looks and when he switches over to the other he is surprised because their elves "that kind of world, huh and from the looks of things these aren't the passive elves read about' he says in his head.
