MOTHER AND FATHER WERE HERE.
They stood with their arms crossed across their chests, trying to hide their furious expressions. I cowered back in my seat, feeling my entire body freeze up. Father's eyes were red-rimmed, almost seeming to bulge out of their sockets as he stared me down. Devin hid behind me, completely blocking himself from their view.
"Those are your parents?" Xeros quietly murmured in my ear.
Unable to tear my eyes away, I subtly nodded my head, "That's them...You've seen my Father already, haven't you?"
"I didn't really get a good look at him then," he shrugged his shoulders, "I was more worried about you."
"Don't say things like that" I complained lightly under my breath.
"Why?" he asked in a light voice, "It's the truth."
"Because...I-It's weird," I stuttered, "I -"
"Okay, if you two would please follow me this way -" Linda's loud voice cut me off.
